- Many pumpkin juice recipes call for boiling and straining the pumpkin, or using a high speed blender. Here is a simple recipe that keeps all the nutrition intact.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I couldn't find a lot on juicing pumpkins, and I just killed my back today harvesting pumpkins from a volunteer vine. I think they are Dickinson pumpkins, the ones Libby uses in their canned pumpkin.
They are largish, but we had a volunteer vine another time, and the pumpkins were tasty, so here I be, with pumpkins all over my living room floor! Many are still partly green, but it didn't seem to matter last time, though I didn't have a juicer then and the pumpkins from before got cooked.
Apparently a neighbor grew these one year and now I'm benefiting, LOL! Maybe birds drop the seeds or something.
Love your videos! Thank you for making them. I’d love to see more ideas on juicing with Angel Juicers using different screens.

@@euJUICERScom I did a small pumpkin first. Juiced half one day with a couple apples, half another. And today, made pumpkin seed milk with the Sana. I'd never tasted pumpkin seed milk before, but it was great!
Can raw pumpkin be juiced using an Angel juicer?

Yes, an Angel juicer can juice pumpkin. It is similar to juicing carrots. Just feed it slowly as with any vegetable with a high fiber content, to minimize pulp backing up into the feeding tube.

Can pumpkins juice with Sana 828 too? If I remember well, they are really hard.

Yes, you can juice pumpkins with the Sana 828. Just be sure to cut the pumpkins into smaller pieces, and feed them slowly. My wife bakes the pumpkin seeds as a snack - she just rinses them off, mixes them with a little salt and olive oil, and baked them at 180C until they are browned. I use the pumpkin pulp in pumpkin cake. You can use any recipe, just add a little more liquid from the recipe (usually milk or oil) until the batter is smooth, to make up for the lost pumpkin juice.
I destroyed a centrifuge style jucier two years ago with a pumpkin. I feel that I may not have your success with a Juiceman II. The motor and housing cracked on the Jack Lalanne model I used back then. I do not have the means to buy a better juicer at this time.
As with all firm produce (like carrots or beets), it's best to juice it slowly and in small pieces. I've never tried it in a centrifugal, so thank you for the warning.
You didn't say what does it taste like sweet or starchy bitter????
It tastes sweet, like a pumpkin milkshake.
