Also note two things I simply didn’t mention in my video. Look how even the security guards are smiling away when Frida surrounds them, e.g. at 5:00, 5:18, and at 5:50.
At 6:18, you can see Tomas Ledin next to Frida. He was also next to Benny, Frida and Björn when they waved inside the Arena. He is a well-known Swedish musician, who was ABBA’s backing singer on their final concert tour 1979/80, and performed the song "Not Bad At All" in concert. In 1980, Agnetha and Frida appear on his songs "Lookin’ For A Good Time" and "The Sun’s Shinin’ In The Middle Of The Night". He continued to collaborate with the ladies for their solo work: Agnetha’s "Never Again" (duet, 1982) and "Take Good Care Of Your Children" (songwriter, 1983), and Frida’s "I Got Something" (songwriter, 1982) and "Änglamark" (1992).

I read that Peter Gabriel took the chance to make a positive comment on Abba VOYAGE show at his intro on his Berlin concert last weekend describing it as 'Wonderful".
Since i belong to a Generation that got bulled back at the time for being an Abba supporter,i'm now twice as proud to see artists that come from a different music genre like M.Jagger and P.Gabriel taking the oportunity to refer and praise Abba's legacy.I feel this is a great reward and a slap in the mouth to all unfair,prejudiced critical voices that caused such painful embarassement to Abba fans in those past decades.
There is something so special about Frida's soul. Her sense of play has never gone away. She is simply Frida.

..despite what benny did to her, dumping her, out of left field, for another woman. I hope that Benny has regrets about this, but we'll never know. Frida moved on with other loves I'm happy to say: she deserves it!
@@annedonker4795 yes and Benny getting that woman pregnant while they were still married. I know no ones perfect but I can't not be mad at him for that. Frida deserved better and more respect after all they went through together. It was sad when she lost her German prince but has had a loving partner in British viscount Henry Smith for many years now. She calls him her "bloody English man" lol

Frida is literally the best! Please protect her at all costs, universe. Her sweet moment with Benny… is she ‘twisting his arm’???? I sincerely hope so or we’re going to sic the bears on Benny! Lol
I was at that gate too. It was difficult but finally I managed to see her and listen to her beautiful voice. I'm obedient and I screamed a lot when she told us to, now I have a sore-throat.
Seeing the three of them in person and being there at the gate with Frida is something I never thought could happen. A dream come true, the dream of a kid in the 70s. Frida is such a good and humble person, she is still beautiful and always so fun. I love her so much. I will never forget those three minutes. ❤
It always makes me so happy when we get to see our beautiful Frida happy, knowing all she has been through over the years. It fills my heart with such joy. I miss seeing our beautiful Agnetha in the midst of them, though. These were priceless moments, BB - ty so very much for sharing them with us!!

The atmosphere was truly electric. We all seemed to cheer more for Frida she is a special person. Truly cares for us fans I am sure 😊 I could not believe any of it. Strange it was like being in a dream. Extra special will never forget it. We also all got a lovely anniversary gift

Seeing them makes me so incredibly happy, especially seeing Frida! She may have walking sticks and maybe that makes some people sad but you can tell she's in good health and her spirit hasn't changed with the years, she's so funny and wonderful! That video with her and Benny makes my heart melt, I've rewatched it so many times, it was like a time machine to the good old days and I'm glad they're on such good terms❤ Love your channel so much!

I loved ABBA back then and I love them now. They were the best pop group back then and so far, nobody has managed to take that place from them.
That was me who Frida spoke to, I said to her I’ve loved abba since I was 12, and she asked my age now, I replied 40 next year and she joking said 14. I said thank you so much and she said thank you darling. Honestly I’m on cloud 9 since.

I was pleased to see Bjorn looking so smart (he didn’t look as good last year with a pale pink T shirt and jacket). Frida looked so dignified. She has all the wealth to get hair extensions and wear a designer suit etc etc But no, her class is innate. Great video Bobby’s Brother - I loved seeing Frida stroking Benny’s beard - there is clearly love between them still but in a different way.

I love Frida so much that, yesterday, watching her approaching to the public, my heart began to beat with joy! I NEED to say this that I have noticed since the first time: Have you seen the smile on the bodyguards or security people? That is speaking for it self! It means that everybody are enjoying their jobs! They are not underpreassure. Judging by the face of the workers I can see that there's a very good ambience! Love ABBA!
They are just pure class, their gratitude always front and centre, never dismissive.. and the natural consequence.. eternal magic.

4:20 wow photo sessions from TDBYC period.What a fine bucket of news you gathered and brought for us!So Ronnie Wood was there.I remember i had read in an Abba book (Abba in their own words")stating that Bjorn was in a Rolling Stones concert and was amazed stating 'there's no body to touch them in their field".That can also be said for Abba now.And David Gilmour from prog rockers Pink Floyd too!.Though i'm sure other PF member Rodger Waters will never attend since he doesn't like Abba at all (after that incident that took place in that 2006 interview expressing rudely his disrespect for them.).And Frida touching gently Benny's beard!Ha!She used to do such things even in their '70s interviews.I've seen Benny talking while interviewed and Frida gently wrapping her hand around caressing tenderly his hair from behind looking at him full of pride and Benny smiling back like a little child.Thank you for yet another amusing video.Keep it in your valueable Abba chronicle video library.Hey B'sb Imagine Frida meeting YOU saying "Oh i know you and your channel,Thank you for what you did for Us".Eh?!
Does anyone enjoy these appearances more than Frida? She seems to revel in the atmosphere. I was there on Saturday - for both shows - and I was in the queue for the evening show when Frida's limousine pulled up almost alongside us - and, of course, those of us who spotted her all immediately left the queue to see her! She had the window open, as some of the photo's show, and was smiling and waving. Such a nice moment. After that, of course, we saw Frida, Benny & Bjorn inside the arena. Many of us hoped they'd take to the stage, as they did for the premiere one year ago, but I think they must have thought that without Agnetha that wouldn't be right.
It was an absolutely fantastic atmosphere in the Arena - and so great to see everyone on their feet in the seated areas. IMO you can't beat the dancefloor for atmosphere. (But get a seat if you want the best view of the light show etc). Having seen Frida earlier, I didn't stay at the gates after the show, so it's great to see other fans' brilliant footage. I did get a chance to speak to Ludvig, and I thanked him for his part in making this amazing show possible. Another amazing experience!

That was lovely to see, thank you as always BB. I was wowed by the presence of David Gilmour. The audio quality of the Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse tours along with lasers + lights shows the Pink Floyd standards of audio and visual attention to detail. I have no doubt he was very impressed by the Voyage experience. And, as you said, an outpouring of love shared among everyone present!

In all seriousness, it's very touching to see Benny and Frida being friendly. Björn and Agnetha have the family connection through their children and grandchildren, but I always thought things seemed quite icy at the end there for Benny and Frida. I'm remembering the "Under Attack" performance on TV where she goes up to him at the piano and he won't even look at her. It was a huge difference, because before they were always a very demonstrative couple. But now here they are. It seems like everything has finally been forgiven.

Australians have a special place in their hearts for ABBA. Their success in Australia was incredible. I was there in 1977 when they toured it was ABBA Mania!!!!
For me, Frida has always been ABBA, my absolute favorite.
When looking at this and seeing them in old age, I smiled as I realised I had shared this journey of life with them.

Frida is such a lovely Lady with her fans, she has always been like that, I remember vividly her availability when I met her in France, sometimes staying more than an hour after a TV show, signing autographs for everyone or simply taking the time to discuss information, alone with me, during the recording from her album "Shine" in 1984 at the Studio de la Grande Armée in Paris and sending after the draft cover of the single "Shine", autographed from sweden weeks before the release.

@@diannepower7196 she is scared to travel by plane. I’m sure they mentioned her in their group and hopefully talked to her on the phone. She is missed that’s for sure.
If Frida can show up with two sticks and go out of her way to greet fans, then I wonder what prevented Agnetha to make an effort, it's a year anniversary, not a month or a few weeks apart. Frida has gone through so much in her life but is an example of how to appreciate life.

@@kyria3357 She was there last year, but in the comments fans asks why she's not there, I know she doesn't like flying and traveling, it is a big disappointment that she did not come, it would have been great to see them all together again. If she had send a message to the fans to say she was unable to attend then I think all Abba fans would have appreciated it and be relieved that everything is OK.

These are moments to treasure - naturally, we will see less of ABBA (especially A&A) as the years go on so we must be grateful that Frida especially still enjoys attending these occasions. Despite Benny's reluctance, I suspect that they will celebrate 50 years of Waterloo at least in some small way but, importantly - in their OWN quiet, modest, Swedish way. (I'm not adding to the speculation or suggestion that they will appear at Eurovision!)
By the way (I don't know if anybody mentioned it already): "Ring Ring" is at #29 in the German album charts. 😃 50 years ago the album didn't made it to the charts but now it does. 😊

Wonderful video. Thanks so much, as always, for putting this together. It was a wonderful night, but the highlight was definitely Frida's interactions with us fans. She seems genuinely thrilled to be there, and it was so exciting when she approached the crowd of us standing on the other side of that fence.
One funny thing about that whole session after the concert outside the fence was that fans either did not know the celebrities emerging, and driving off in their cars, or they didn't care about them. We all just wanted to see Frida (and BB too if they had come closer). So people like Bob Geldof just walked on through without anyone taking pics of them, or talking to them, or anything else!
BB, thank you so much for this compilation of videos from the First Year Anniversary Night. Now….First: Frida- Fabulous. Second: Security Guy!! That was one big smile, that seemed to always be there. It was great to see how happy he was to be with her, but it also seemed he was protective of her, and happy to be protective of her.
