To anyone curious about the robot, this is actually the materialisation of Takasugi's plans during the GUDAGUDA Close Call Event. Co-inspiring with Amanojaku to restore his body (secretly intending to backstab him for his own gain, for a physical god to rule over the Earth), he created the robot, the Arahabaki. The Arahabaki would serve as Amanojaku's "physical body" and container, allowing Takasugi to use Amanojaku's full power while also containing the latter. There were some complications to his plan, however, as the Magical Furnaces and Nobunaga's head, which powered the Arahabaki's functions, were eventually stolen by Zuizan, and given to Okuni for her use. Its subsequent fight with Okuni, Chacha and the Mori Siblings eventually further weakened it enough for Amanojaku to regain control of his body and hijack the Arahabaki. It was eventually destroyed by Lancer Ryouma and Oryou. My guess is that the original Kiheitai might have been more normal, but with the recent event, Takasugi's NP has been altered to include this mech.
And with this, typemoon has no more excuses - Rex Magnus Karl can be brought into Fate Grand Order now. Even if he would became just another version of Charlie as Ruler - a more mature Charlie based on Saber Charlemagne's Third Ascension - but this NP is all the proof we need that Fate Grand Order CAN process the animation of Carolus Patricius Auctoritas (Rex Magnus Karl's NP).
The only problem with Rex Magnus Karl being made as an individual Servant is that, as said in Extella Link, he and Saber Charlemagne are the same person unless you were to find a way to SPECIFICALLY separate the ‘factual’ history of Charlemagne from his ‘fictional’ history. Hell, in Extella Link, it was mentioned that when he was summoned (I think he summoned himself) Rex Magnus Karl RIPPED his ‘fictional’ self from his Saint Graph and that made it so his ‘fictional’ self would gradually be destroyed by the ‘factual’ Karl if they were too close together. Even in the true ending of Extella Link, it was mentioned that to summon one or the other they would have to be summoned as one singular person. The protagonist of that game and the Altera of the Extraverse had to find a way to, more or less, hack the ‘factual’ Rex Magnus Karl and the ‘fictional’ Charlemagne as two separate Servants into the Moon Cell. In Grand Order, I would imagine that to summon Rex Magnus Karl as his own person, they would have to find a way to separate ‘fact’ from ‘fiction.’ Or use a Singularity as a short cut. Actually they developers might do that.
@@one-eyedspider5965 that is why i suggested Rex Magnus as Charlie Ruler - based on Charlie’s third ascension when he is mixed with Karl - as the reason he will be ingame. Even the Traum singularity gave hints that Rex Magnus exists in the FGO Universe.
honestly, us having both Charlie and Karl der Gross might not even be the biggest instance of us fucking up servant rules, depending on how the summer/christmas/Elizabeths are treated in canon (IE are they the same servant with a modified spirit origin, or are they separate servants? I don't remember how or if they plain that ever)
He better be quick because if he is buster, he is in a crowded pool and if he is arts, it would mean that he would be the 5th arts servant we got this year and we still in March
Nahhh, his skillset is actually kinda good, he could substitute for summer ibuki for turn reduc at turn 3, he also provides crit damage and overcharge. He's essentially a worse summer skadi, if only that 30% battery was aoe though...

When you think about it, his targetted crit skill is a 6 turn cooldown without the cd reduction and his mana burst is also on a 6 turn cd. His guts is on a 7 turn cd. If anything, he needs the cd reduction. I mean, think about it, his second skill without the cd reduction effect, is basically just a crit up on a 6 turn cooldown and doesn't come with any absorb. So the cd reduction means it is just a vanilla 3 turn crit up on a 5 turn cooldown. And before you say about the first skill, it's only a 10 to 20% mixed mana burst and you still need a good companion for the OC effect( it's still good on him though). I don't think it would be broken on a 5 turn cooldown. But it will be underwhelming on a 6 turn cd. Basically I'm saying is that, the cd reduction in his own kit is a fix to his own kit cooldown. Ibuki, for instance, has a 5 turn cooldown 50% battery with her cd reduction and even her second skill doesn't feel strange on a 6 turn cooldown( before reduction) since it's a 30% mixed mana burst for 3 turns
