Self Running Generator Test Results

  • I built a self running type a/c generator and tested it for output and capability. The claims made by the Liberty Engine guy and King Homemade were combined to make the maximum amount of energy possible by marrying their ideas. The result was under what they both claimed it would be. Watch as I dispel the myth they perpetrated. They will hate me after the release of this video more than likely. But it will lead me to another version of this that may work better instead. Fingers crossed.

Generally speaking, having more or less magnets does not affect the power output of a motor. It changes the torque and speed range instead. The efficiency change just slightly because if you change the number of magnets you change the magnetic flux arrangement. A motor with 12 poles will have more eddy currents losses because the magnetic field changes its polarity faster than a 6 pole motor with the same rated speed. Also by connecting the coils in series you are cancelling out the voltages because one set of magnets will be north and the next set will be south creating magnetic fields through the coils in opposing directions, you'll need to reverse the connections on every second coil. Also you cant have 6 poles and 14 magnets as the poles wont line up to the magnets in the most optimal position. You need to have either 6 magnets or 12 magnets for alignment. Also your magnets look like they don't cover the full length of the coil core.

For that series coil winding, you want either 7 stator poles & coils in series with 14 poles on the rotor, or if using 6 poles & coils in series for the stator, then the rotor should have a multiple of 6, so either 6 or 12 magnet poles.

Before getting overexcited there needs to be adjustments like N52 magnetic strength and circumference off fitted six coils you need so as to get under 900rpm for 50Hz. Remember coils used by Liberty are at tested/determined circumference required for about 1420rpm of driving motor to maintain 50hz. Speed and magnetic strength then enable proper ac wave propagation at around 230vac. The rotor material is really irrelevant I used fiber glass resin for best results.

FYI. Having lots of coils in series does not necessarily mean that the voltages will be always higher. What happened to your system is that there is an electrical phase shift that happened to each and every coil voltage output that is why the voltage does not increase due to the number of your magnets you are using . It also does not follow having lots of poles/magnets will result to higher power output. It does not work that way. AC generators uses a definite combination/proportion of number of magnets to the number of coils to remove the electrical phase shift to produce a stable high output voltage at a desired speed/frequency level (50 / 60 Hz suitable for appliances). When you use 14 magnets at a speed of 1400 - 1500 RPM which is your drive motor's speed will result to 163 Hz of frequency (Formula: speed = 120 x frequency / number of poles) and it will burn your appliances immediately. It is theoretical to use 2 or 4 magnets only to avoid electrical phase shift of the voltage thus producing a stable higher voltage (4 coils only same with the Liberty Engine 2.0 / 2 pairs of coils connected in parallel facing each other). Also, the reason why the Liberty Engine 2.0 used a aluminum-silver alloy is to make a much heavier rotor at, 7.6 kilos including weight of all the magnets. (because aluminum is very light and silver is way more heavier than aluminum and non-magnetic) Thus utilizing the rotational power produced of a heavy rotating body due to it's large moment of inertia to maintain a stable speed even at high loads and reducing magnetic braking effects. I hope this helps. This is all about electrical engineering foundations. And, one last thing, the position of your rotor is not centered to the center of the coils that is why the voltage is too low even the air gap is very small.

    Hi
You have some mistakes and you can avoid it as follows
Coils to be upside down and all the way down.
Magnets should cover the whole transformer core wide +60 mm.
Magnets should be 4 N S N S only, not as much as you have.
Magnets should be high power, minimum N52
Motor speed should be 1500 rpm for 50 Hz or 1800 rpm for 60 Hz
    Rotor should be aluminum alloy.
You can try these modifications and give us the results.
    Goodbye and good luck.

I used 2 x triple MOT coils per frame and 3 frames exactly the same with a longer resin rotor with N52's rotating under 900rpm for 50hz and 230-40vac. Liberty used 2 x twin Mot coils single frame only at 1420 for correct Hz and 230vac.

i believe what you are lacking is the resonating part, use capacitors to adjust the voltage, two of the same type in series, capacitors store dielectric electricity, you can adjust the right uf just use both of same like 20 uf or 15 uf, read the voltage out of them to see

You're testing the voltage in the wrong place. The coils are only getting a electrical charge to make them magnetic THAT'S the 7v. Open the box on the engine and you will find your 230v output. And to get it to self run you just need to find away to turn the generator fast enough for it to start getting the 7v to the coils which will make the magnetic fields that will keep the generator running on it's own

  • @DrazenHosman

    Hello,
If I understood correctly, the working principle of the Liberty motor is that permanent magnets with coils are used for self-rotation the electric motor, and than that motor generates energy (230V) to power the coils of the permanent magnet and not the other way ...

Oh sorry and of course should have stated that in liberty the coils are wired for maximum power & each pair paralleled for collective current. As rotor spins each pair is simultaneously magnetized so no phase shift that is one pair N the other S alternating a push/pull arrangement for correct waveform and voltage. Note each pair is a separate circuit one used to drive motor plus extra if wished and the other full socket for independent use. (obviously both totally out of phase supplies).
Anyway the non-mechanical version is better using larger 3-phase motor stator with triple MOTs on each end and using non-necessity of full shaft as only need it sofar into each end to get the magnetic resonance and stator producing multiple paralleled current sources, in this case well over 20kw?

      @russfunk7615 Před 9 měsíci

Although there are scammers out there, it seems like a lot of trouble to go through to assemble an entire unit and show it working. There's more to it than just generating volts. There's watts and ohms as well that have to be added into the equation. For example you can't run an AC motor with DC currant. Or vice-versa. You need a rectifier. The Liberty generator also had other metals mixed in with the aluminum and silver but was unwilling to divulge that information. Maybe they just dumped a handful of iron shavings in the molten mix, and maybe it just worked by fluke. They definitely are hiding something in their video and not giving up all the secrets. But with that being said, many people in the past who created something "world changing" either disappeared or suddenly died, and all their notes went mysteriously missing.. or it was massively debunked, making all other creators/inventers lose hope before even trying. Sometimes, the commenters will give ideas that the creator didn't think of to try. Good luck

I been asking that same question about the importance of the silver-alum rod. My guess at this point has to do with lower resistance. Alum does not conduct electricity and only the silver and other conductive elements in the rod would only conduct the magnetic field and in theory would have less resistance than a sold steel rod of the same size. The lower resistance will transmit stronger magnetic field. In one of their videos they mentioned they purposely left off that piece of information about the thin metal layer of silver-alum that they wrapped around the magnets before wrapping tap around it. This supposedly created a stronger magnetic field. In their Liberty #3 motionless generator they used a silver-alum rod to carry the magnetic field from the stator to the microwave coils on either side.
