I just like Ranjit's straightforward and simplified approach in reviewing the smartphones unlike some other platforms who tend to be extra loud and flashy and act very weirdly.

I saw lots of reviews of a particular phone/product but only trust words of Ranjjit final say about product. Keep it up, Ranjit. You should be more famous than paid reviewers.
For anyone having trouble deciding between s21 FE and Pixel 6a, do keep in mind the service center issue with Pixel.
I, personally have gone through the trouble of not having service center around for some electronic devices and trust me, you won't like to go through that hassle for a device you've spent 30K on. But if you live near Mumbai, pixel would be better. I'm a stock android guy and would have definitely gone for Pixel if they had more service centers around my area so my choice would be S20FE or S21FE.

@@sravvinashkumar Yes. So it essentially boils down to whether you want to shell extra money for 2 more Android OS upgrades. S20FE will get till Android 13 while S21FE will get till Android 15. I use my phone for atleast 3 years so S21 FE is an easy decision for me. Each android upgrade makes you feel you have a new phone.
S21FE has n77 5 band missing.

I'm really confused whether i should go for Samsung a52s or moto edge 30 or pixel 6a which is going to be around 27k on Flipkart.
Stock Android is my goto but I'm also intrigued in more features on One ui, but that's only just features, I'm not really a fan of One UI, also a52s is now an year old. Good Battery life is also important for me. Cameras I'm ok with as long as it is good and reliable, don't need to be the best of the best.
Is there any other device I should be looking at.

S21fe or pixel 6a is better for normal user? Both are around 30k price bracket during sales.
Been using this for about 2 months now and trust me you don't want to put a cover on it without thoroughly wiping it because the back now has micro scratches all over in this very colour.

I got the Pixel 2 XL, 64GB variant in May 2018.
Damn, I miss this phone. It had the best cameras in its class, front and rear, night sight, a smooth user interface, decent quality display, and very good battery life.
The performance was up to the mark, with good build quality and mediocre dual speakers.
Fortunately, I didn't have any significant h/w issues apart from the minor s/w ones.
Overall, it performed pretty well from 2018 to 2021.
Yes, the speakers now are distorted. Battery life is worse now.
The blue shift on my device was not that much of an issue for me.
Even today, it is somehow holding on.
But recently, I got my screen replaced by a local vendor in my city, Indore.
I got it in April 2019, it's holding up very well till date. I love the rgb notification light which I customised. I will definitely miss it now as it's not seen in other phones. My phone's battery health deteriorated, have to replace it. I don't find any Con in my typical day to day usage. I think this is the only pixel phone with all the basics right. I always turn on the night mode display so blue tint I never noticed it.

@@jobsearch879 Yes, it got all the basics right. It was a pretty good Pixel phone for its time. I think it was the first Pixel with HDR+ enhanced capabilities, and later on, with the addition of night sight, it became even better. Surprisingly, even now, sometimes it takes better night time pics than my current A52s.

I'm using pixel 4a.The problem with these devices is we can't decide which task is drawing more power and which one is heating the device. Because different tasks heat the device at different times and situations.Similarly sometimes they won't heat that much .
I think Android 13 fixes that. There is a menu in notification panel that shows running apps.

Hi Ranjit, a lot of pixel 4a phone users have been reporting loss of multi touch function. For me it happened after Android 13 update. Now I'm only able to use multi touch if I use Android 10. Please raise your voice about it

Regarding the service of pixel devices, I have used it twice, once for pixel 2 and the other for pixel 3a. It is excellent. Courier charges were Rs 500 which were adjusted in the service charges. And screen replacement charges for pixel 3a cost just around Rs 4500 including courier. It's really amazing service! Yeah it took around 2 weeks to deliver but I live in a very remote location and providing service in this area is itself a big deal!
Can you share the website or contact for pixel 3a screen replacement. I checked at local store and they said 8k

When I open the camera app, I see blurriness on my display however, the quality of the photo is not much affected.
Is this a fault of the refresh rate or of any bug still in the phone?
I love my Pixel 6 Pro, one of my all-time favorite Android phones. The haptic engine is so good, the screen is gorgeous, and the software is extremely smooth. I'm aware people have issues, but in my experience the device is just excellent.
What's the use? 6 Pro is not available in India anyway.
6 Pro is available in India via Amazon the only issue is we have to risk ourselves as if at all there is an issue we won't have proper servicing. But I have been using it for the last 3 months and it's an absolute beast.

i had experience with my pixel 2xl
back camera was broken somehow from me and i send the phone to service centre in mumbai... my surprise they sent me quotation of 32k.. they said your motherboard is also damaged and need to change it.. i never felt that there is an issue with motherboard.. so i have decided to use the phone without back camera and it worked for another 2 years.... service in india for pixel phones is stupid....

Guys for those who thinks little bit of heat is not a deal breaker, just keep this in mind that heating is directly proportional to throttling. The more it gets hot, the more it throttles which leads to choppy performanc and also more power it consumes which leads to faster battery drainage.
All phones get hot. But it also depends on usage. If you are always using it then it will get hotter.
Not true at all, my Asus Zenfone don't heat at all even during COD gaming. Heating damages phone components as well as lithium ion battery have negative effects during heating.

that's what I've faced in any situation like you mentioned. Specifically when use Mobile Data smartphone get hot.
After many days of my research i have come to a conclusion that pixel 6a is great deal for its price of 27 k during big billion sales compared to other phones at its range.. Also all the bugs at the beginning are now been solved., .. But there is serious problem.. it's really hard to find it's accesories.. for example screen protectors.. i have even search for screen protectors of pixel 6a in Flipkart there is only two or three type available.. while there is hundred types or more screen protectors of other phones.. so.. it would hard to find these accessories for a long term usage.. Also The Service of Pixel is much costly and there service in India is pathetic.. But the phone is really a great product by pixel...

I have the 4a. Android 13 decimated its battery endurance. Though the battery drain on wifi improved, it started to devour power when using mobile data. Now I have to top it up frequently at night before I go to sleep, which was unthinkable when it was running Android 12. I did not expect this from Google. Let's hope that Google releases a patch for this in future updates. This 6a here is a good deal if it comes down to around 30k or less. Anything more than that, it’d be a waste of money.

@@Sk-lo9ty Nope. The 4a is not a good deal at any price now as it will be supported for only about a year from now. You should look for other models which fit your budget and are new. As we do a lot of important stuff like mobile banking on our phones, getting software support is a crucial requirement that no one should neglect. For stock Android, look for Motorola phones; for non-stock Android, there are many phones in all price brackets. Or, if you can afford it, go for the 6a; it will get a good discount on the upcoming BBD sale.

I guess 120Hz Samsung display beats 60 hz pixel one. And the main advantage of camera in case of pixel is also a less of deal breaker beacause s21 fe camera is superb and at par with pixel. Also one UI 4 is a blast. Decide carefully.

first check service centernear you as both are stock android. if you want premium feel then go for pixel as it is well establish brand and nothing as to work on there phone becoz there is nothing new with nothing only light on back make it different from crowd so go for pixel if you have there service center near you

I am using Pixel 4a now and the battery has swollen so I sent it for repairing to b2x after giving 850rs as inspection charge and now they are telling me that there is a liquid damage on my display
They need to change the display, midplate and back panel too
And they sent me the charges which was 35208rs like wtf is wrong with them because other than battery I didn't face any issues regarding the phone

@@binusmoki490 update: there were charging me 35k for repairing the device so I ofcourse rejected the repair and they sent me back my device and surprisingly the battery's replaced, the part which was swollen at the back is flat now and the battery backup I am getting is good, they didn't even charged me for the battery, I just gave ₹850 to them😂

Ek Important update related to Pixel 6a: Google is only giving warranty if bought from flipkart, else if we buy it from Amazon, they say your warranty is void. Isme customer ki kyaa galati he wahi samajh me nahi aata...aap koi bhi chiz kahi se bhi kharide...if mobile intact he...koi warranty void krne wali chhed chhad nahi ki gai...so why google can't give warranty?
Officially it's being sold on Flipkart in India. The units available on Amazon are the imported units and not the official ones. Hence no warranty of bought from Amazon

You didn’t show any camera samples which might have changed after update as the OEMs usually degrade the camera performance. So how do we know that if there is any changes in image quality?
LOL you are taking about Google here, not some random Chinese OEM that degrade their cameras to sell new models.

Actually, Google never did that with previous pixels , they'll either improve your camera or keep it as is , if you're pixel got degraded after an update , you can easily expect that as a bug and Google will fix that with another update.
It's usually the chinese brands that do these shady things.(I still remember realme 2 pro's camera drastically degraded after a *security patch update and they never fixed that and I'm sure mi has done it many times)

For videos go with IPhone bro, I tested S21 fe... It's not good for night shoot. Daylight is good but in videos iphones are clearly way ahead.

I upgraded to 6A from Huawei Honor play (when they stopped giving Android app updates).... From my pov I feel this phone is a bit heavy, bulky and has better haptics, speakers, camera and huge battery backup.... I feel sad because there is no headphone jack. I would say that it's extremely stable and it's bigger than my previous smartphone

I personally would recommend a pixel. They won't hang for 3-4 years atleast.
My friends still have pixel 2 and it works like a charm with no lag
Dont go for motorola, personally since its under the lenovo group, they do tend to ignore the phones after a while. I say go for the pixel or the s22 where the company actually cares about your device. i would never recommend a samsung unless its a flagship from their end as samsung doesnt treat their budget range that well
Pixel 6a great product.. but if u have a budget for s22+ please go for it.. it's a great product.. and during the sale price it's a great deal

Nothing Phone 1 is a better choice if you value things like high refresh rate, gaming, etc. Go for Pixel 6a if you want top notch security, fastest updates, assistant related features, better camera.
One more thing - Phone will get hot if you play mid to heavy games on pixel. So avoid Pixel if you are a gamer.

Initial pricing of the 6a was way too much and it's still overpriced over 40k on Flipkart but on Amazon it's at 32k and at that price it's a great deal. I am contemplating on getting it next year, it's either the 6a or Edge 30 or G82. G82 cause it has a headphone jack unlike the other two.

Got the Android 13 on my Pixel 4a on 17th Aug.. Observations :
1. Battery backup has gone bit down but slight increase in performance so that's okay.
2. Camera quality has gone down. More grainy shots in low light than earlier
3. Apps are somehow getting lot more updates in this version really soon (hogging up storage a lot now)
Pixel sure is great phone but the Brilliant software update doesn't match with their hardware somehow. They struggle somehow with their Pro model's hardware. Wish Google could have the proper match of hardware and software like the Apple does.
What about heating issues bro ??
@@tanmay_surve only during mobile data usage. 4a wasn't made for big gaming but small games and multitasking is almost effortless and doesn't heat

@@sunnyjha1083 I won't say Extreme heat.. But slightly more than usual. It gets more heated if you have network fluctuation continously.
This phone is very good. But I am facing some issues with this.
On VI Network i am facing a calling issue. After 5-6 second call drops automatically, where as my Nokia 8.1 don't have any issue at same place. No issue with Jio Network. Also internet disconnected on VI Network while calling.
It is heated upto 46-47 degrees Celsius while using Hotspot.
Am looking for compact in this case if i ask for comparison between Pixel 6a vs Moto edge fission, what is your recommendation?
