There are even no third party service centres in India. I live in Kolkata and was using Pixel 4a previously. My phone had a water spill issue and when contacting the "official customer care" of Google, I was informed that the only service centre of Google in India was situated in Mumbai. To get it repaired, the phone needed to be shipped to Mumbai and only once the phone reaches there would they be able to ascertain the extent of damage to the device. Funnily enough, the customer executive gave a timeline of 25-30 days for the whole process and expected me to live a mobile-free life for that many days. Extremely disappointed with the servicing network Google has in India!!
I have sent my mobile for battery replacement and service is good, they took around 4-5 days for picking up and delivery. Earlier they used to give backup Nexus phone but sadly they have stopped it now. But as part of the service they did a good job. It costed around 2K.

Using pixel3a from 2.5 years , superb phone 🤘
6:30 - Thank you for picking my question first of all!
I asked this question because I don't like changing my phones again and again. I'd rather buy one good phone and use it for 3-4 years at least.
Imagine using a 60hz phone in 2025. I wonder how much of a deal-breaker it would become at that point
Just buy an iPhone. i bought a iPhone 12 Mini for 41k and everything is excellent and super duper smooth even on 60Hz. Battery is mediocre. The cherry on top is iPhone build quality is the best in industry. Only Samsung competes in build quality. Just buy 1 gen old iPhone. It's worth it considering iPhone's are supported for so so long.
Same my thoughts 👍
I hv both pixel 2xl and 4a. .. 2xl ist still going good
@@anshulgupta8763 ya, im still enjoying my pixel 4a

Using Pixel 4 XL since 2019 and can say its the best phone i have ever used (including Samsung and iphones). If you use google services like CZcams, google photos, maps etc. no other phone can match the seamless experience. Only downside is the battery backup.
Battery life on this Pixel 6a is way better than Pixel 4a coz of the way bigger battery capacity size.
I wish Google wasn't such a privacy nightmare. Apple isn't much better but definitely better than most Android OEMs
Ya that's y after using pixel 2xl for 4 years, I went for p4a last year..
Using 4a the heating issue is really a problem specially in summers it really gets warm within few minutes of casual use only. In direct sunlight you cannot use it more than few minutes it's really hard to hold.
Would you recommend buying the 4xl in 2022? Just for normal use, social media and stuff?
It will be very nice if you do a similar FAQ on the Nothing phone. Your analysis is always the best.
Sir, can this be compared to the Moto Edge 30 Pro ?

Geeky ranjit's Q/A videos are love ❤️
Hats off to you Sir for honest review.
Thanks Ranjit for posting this video. Must have allayed a lot of concerns floating around.
Hello Mr. Ranjit!
Can an software update fix the issue of heating or the heating will continue?
Hi Ranjith
A fan from Tamil Nadu. I always like google phones because of its optimization and simplicity. Previously I planned to buy a pixel 4a and I was crazy about that phone but after considering the battery size I purchased motorola edge 20 fusion (as you said there is WiFi issue).
I will try pixel 6a if there is a 3.5mm jack. Why this was skipped in this device. Does keeping jack affects integrity or waterproofing. Hardwarically asking. Thanks 🙏🏼
I've seen Beebom review of pixel 6A, they have mentioned about phone getting unlocked without the registered finger print.

@@KICK839 what are you even talking about, that was samsung this is google
@GeekyRanjit, did you observe any flickering issue , when trying to capture an image which has a light source in it's frame?
I am observing it in my pixel 6a device, not sure if I need to get it replaced or it's just a bug.
Purely in performance and camera perspective do you think it’s reasonable to upgrade to it from PIXEL 4A
I had bricked my Pixel 2 twice while using it in pool for video recording, and had raised a repair request back in those days.
Google had pick up and drop from home service, plus used to give loaner device. I had received a Nexus 5x. In that regards I feel not even Apple or Samsung provides home service.
Not sure if Google still provides home service.
Thanks for providing the great review.
You are the only reviewer whom I can trust as you always remain unbiased towards all brands.
Google provided this pick n drop service , loaner device in India ?? Where are you from ?
@geekyranjit can you please check if Google still provides pick and home services in India now? If it still does its a service offered by none, and definitely gives a peace of mind to the buyers.
@@sahil29pr Now a days google don't provide loaner phone and they take upto 1 month to get your phone fixed its simply not worth it what will you use for 1 month if your phone is going for repair and imagine that you just buy a new phone and within 15 days a problem arises and now you have to give your new phone for a month to google and then don't even give loaner phone so what will you do at that time you simply have to buy a keypad phone to keep you number active 😔 its simply not worth it buying google phone in 2022 atleast in India if you live outside thats different story
@@nikhilverma9223 Yup true, I had availed the service in India and got Nexus 5x as a loaner device. I guess back then Pixel 2 was their first premium phone in India so Google provided this service with the loaner device.
I think google can start by atleast just manufacturing the 5a 6a phones in India as the a series ones have potential in India to sell in good amounts however the flagship ones will face stuff competition with apple and samsung so it is tough
Which charger would be suitable for the pixel 6a? Would a one plus 5 dash charger work with this phone?
@Fingerprint Sensor: is it always active or do i have to start the display before use?

nope, it is a hardware issue, only way to fix it through software would be to reduce the performance.

Let me answer that, I live in Delhi and had some issue with my pixel 4a and sadly there was no service center in the whole NCR, as per my knowledge there is only one Google authorized third party service center in Mumbai that too run by B2X, so they arrange pickup and drop service via bluedart. And yeah the general repair time will be 7-15 days, ans my experience with them was very bad, as they quoted a humongous price for repair (even more than I bought for) and for the problem wrongly judged. So avoid pixel if you can until Google takes this market seriously or if you really wanna buy pixel buy the Pixel 6 selling on Amazon with seller warranty, and had most of issues rectified, it justifies it's price for 44k.
Thank you for sharing your experience:)
Yes, i am also using 4a!, the screen suddenly went off and never turned on. So gave it to B2X and after few days they sent me price quote to pay online! I have bought it for 29k in 2020 and the repair cost in 2022 is 32k. And they mentioned every part of the mobile has to be changed!! How silly
I've heard Android 13 solved a lot of problems on pixel 6 and six pro so do u think Android 13 will solve the heating issues on this one?
How is the camera compared to pixel 4a or 5a. Is tensor chip making a difference ?
I recently got s21fe for 47500 rupees and at that price it is a much safer option than pixel 6a.

How to know the SOT in pixel 6a?any help?
superb genuine review as always. How is the camera in compare to Samsung galaxy A73 which costs the same.
Pixel camera will be amazing but A73 will give stable performance and battery life because of 778.
@@lonebug7194 battery life will be better in a73. But i think pixel performance will be better considering the flagship chip. Even if we consider it as a modified exyonos 2100, its still a flagship chip. Was there in s21.
@@subhashispatra1521 Performance will surely be better because Tensor is a flagship and being a google phone, the UI is stock android. But powerful processor = less battery life

Just want to know....does the 60hz display feel like it's a 60hz display like having gitteryness or is it like an iPhone 60hz display having the best software optimisation?
Sir Do u think the pixel 6a will get some price cut during the independence day sale's?
60Hz on iOS does feel smoother than on Android because iOS has smoother animations.
Yes 60hz on iPhone is smoother than 90Hz on Android frankly I've seen it with my own eyes.
Frankly, I don't know if any regular user has faced any bugs on Pixel 6 or 6 Pro. I have been using the Pixel 6 Pro for 7 months now. No bugs whatsoever since the very first day. Absolutely great experience! Yes, they should have manufactured A series pixel phones in India as the pricing there is absurd. Not an issue here in the US.
What about heating
@@ajuksunny8825 clearly he would be in Air conditioning most of the time or his usage would be less than 5hrs a day.
and most likely he hasn't used the device outside for more than 20 minutes in the day😂
I haven't really faced heating issues but that can be different in the Indian context. It doesn't get that hot in here where I am as in India.
Which one to buy pixel 6 or pixel 6a ? And what about the service that can we expect or look forward if some issues occurred ?
Can we use laptop charger (65w) type c for google pixel 6a ? Will it impact phone battery life ?
Thank you for this amazing and detailed Q&A session sir.
I just want to be sure before making a purchase decision and need your insights. Is it wise to buy a Pixel 6 from amazon at 44k rather than buying Pixel 6A. I am okay with the warranty issue with pixel 6. Kindly reply. Thank you for what you are doing for us.🙏
I think the only downside of P6 is that you wont get warranty support since its not officially launched in India. Which might be a deal breaker in case you break your phone somehow
@@karanssh I want a phone with clean software and a good camera. I can live without warranty on Pixel 6 though. Actually we don't have good options to go with. Only Motorola provides near stock Android after Google's pixel but it's camera capability is not that good.

I have a question regarding the heating, if we have a good case like a Spigen Caseology, do you think we would feel the heating ?
Same doubt
I guess not. I have S21 which has Exynos 2100 and it only slightly feels warm on mobile data when using with a case.
Ek Important update related to Pixel 6a: Google is only giving warranty if bought from flipkart, else if we buy it from Amazon, they say your warranty is void. Isme customer ki kyaa galati he wahi samajh me nahi aata...aap koi bhi chiz kahi se bhi kharide...if mobile intact he...koi warranty void krne wali chhed chhad nahi ki gai...so why google can't give warranty?
6A is exclusively launched on Flipkart only. On amazon, all the sellers are third party and many of the 6a phones are imported. Imported phones don't have a warranty.
Hi Ranjit,
As you mentioned that phone heats after few minutes of cellular internet usage, can this heating issue be resolved in future software updates or is it only due to tensor chipset (hardware)
Hi, was there any optimization? Is it still heating up?
How is the music quality via bluetooth headphones like pixel buds and USB C headphones???
to put in a perspective, Nothing phone 1, motorola and pixel are like mahindra scorpioN, thar, tata harrier/safari
and phones like redmi, realme, vivo and unforunately samsung are like kia/hyundai.
Because cars like scorpioN, thar harrier/safari lack on features but the feel when u drive one is next level which cant be written down on spec sheets while cars like kia/hyundai they add lots of crap features(bloatware) which we dont need in day to day life and fill up the spec sheet with them but they surely dont have that driving feel of cars like thar, scorpioN harrier/safari
we can also say that XUV700 is like "OG ONEPLUS" which was till oneplus 7 series. Oneplus was once a true flagship killer with good specs, good user experience and good pricing as well. It was easy recommendation. while XUV700 has all the gizmozs and features like ADAS, punchy engine and definitely amazing driving feel.

@@ravit6223 Jeep compass and Hyundai Tucson 😂😂😂😂
i liked your analogy 😂
but why Samsung ? is it that they have bloatware... which is actually a shitty move, feels cluttered and some apps cant be even uninstalled and can only be disabled is even more frustrating
as far as i can see what's happening with pixel experience, one ui is over the top of food chain in android space (optimizations, bug free and longetivity)
just becuz moto, nothing and pixel has a pixel experience skin over vanilla doesn't mean they would preform like mahindra scorpioN, thar, tata harrier/safari ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i am saying based on mkbhd's review on pixel pixel6/6pro and 6a, ltt and other communities, and yea most of the bugs(like fingerprint, notifications, freezing) are now resolved thankfully
and I have high hopes for nothing like what oneplus used to be in 2019 ( aka better than pixel )
I hope Google will release pixel 7 in India.
Because I didn't think it's wise to pay 44k for pixel 6a.
I don't think Google will launch pixel 7 as it will be their upcoming upper mid range flagship just below their flagship pixel 7pro so price of pixel 7 will be high only and as Google don't manufacture in India so cost of pixel 7 will easily be higher and should be atleast between 55 to 60K. I think as of now only pixel 'a' line up will be launching.
If possible look for pixel 6 pro around 45K you'll find in second hand mobile market

Ordered the phone as an upgrade to S20 FE(120 hz display, equally good camera with an additional telephoto lens, wireless charging), but didn't actually look like an upgrade. The only issue with my S20 FE is that I bought an exynos one and it has heating issues and not so impressive battery life. Had I waited a little and got the SD one, I wouldn't have contemplated changing the phone this early. I don't care about refresh rate, only if Pixel didn't have heating issues and had fast charging I would have gone for it. But at the moment it seems going back to Creta from Fortuner. So cancelled the order.
Will wait for a midrange Android flagship, but if I run out of options, will prefer getting iphone 13 in BBD sale.

Pixel phones have a track record of buggy updates just like other android manufacturers. With this in mind, is it worth spending more than 40k on an android phone.
Buggy updates were there only for 6 series since it have new tensor chip.

Which would best power adapter for the pixel 6a in India?
Thank you for the answers Ranjit sir, nicely covered
The mi a3 was a jem in it's own , wish the mi a4 came out, the only downside was the screen quality, had to part with it coz it was giving me headaches after using it for only 5mins. But , the battery, ui, processor (during that time), cameras, ports were great
I think they ruined the Android one series the moment they realised it was popular than their note series! The A1 was so promising so was the A2 but then they destroyed the line with the A3! I still have the A1 working so i do wish they came with something good again
My eye hurts seeing a 60Hz screen after using high refresh screens on my laptops, desktop monitors and my smartphone. I have been using high refresh screens for the past 2 years and i will say I can't even imagine going back to a 60Hz display.
Do Pixel phones have any Pixel specific software features, like how we see on other Android Skins?
Sir on Amazon pixel 6 is available for like 43-44k ... Would that be a better option compared to 6a ?? .... If it's Okie also wanted to know if the moto edge 30pro would be a good alternative
I too don't really mind the 60Hz (after using it for a few hours), in fact sometimes I feel that my older Z2 Plus & especially Lumia feel way smoother @60Hz compared to if I put my current 120Hz phone (X7 Max) to 60Hz (battery saver mode).
But from what I read in XDA's review, the 6a just isn't a fluid/locked 60Hz (kinda like iphone maybe), it stutters & drops frames, but more than that the heating issue is a bigger concern I'd say!

Can the heating issue be a deal breaker?
Also, is yours a review unit? Is it possible that the heating issue might get fixed in the actual retails units?
How much deal breaker heating issues are on pixel 6a as Im going to use it primarily on mobile data
Not having a 120Hz display is definitely a deal breaker for people who are used to 120Hz display. I tried using a pixel 5a with 60Hz, even after using it for more than a week I couldn't get used to 60Hz.
when I look at refresh rates, honestly I wouldn't mind having a lower refresh rate if I have a smooth user experience. I used to use a moto g40 fusion with a 120Hz but I stopped using it because of an inconsistent user experience and horrible lag from time to time. I stopped using it within 4 months of buying it and then switched to an iPhone 7 with I had. The iPhone is of course 60Hz but its just so amazingly smooth and consistent and I am still using it today, and also remember, that phone is almost 6 years old.
Pixel is not that good as iphones 😒
@geekyranjit which charger should be used along with 6a. I'm confused to go for higher watt charger but considering phone supporting 18W only.
I also have same question. Anyone kindly suggest.
Sir is this the go to phone for 27k with exchange....
And how are the haptics
The problem for a user like me who uses phone for 3/4 yrs is that it's already dated ! 60hz after 2 years will feel a decade old and the slow charging with the price point it comes makes a deal breaker!
Pixel 6 is just 47k on Flipkart so I wonder why would someone go for a mid-range phone when they can pay a few thousands extra and get a flagship instead. I feel Pixel 6a in India is a no-brainer in India
We have pixel 6 in india? 😳 i cant see in flipkart
Can the heating issue be fixed by the software update?
Sir any suggestions for charger adapter, can we 20W 3A against 18W 5A.
I've been waiting for 6a for a long time but sadly the lack of headphone jack and price are deal breakers for me. I'm not a power-user of phones so spending beyond 25k feels unnecessary, I'd rather put that money on a better laptop which I am a power-user of.
Moto is so good now I'd just go for the upcoming Edge 30 Fusion or G82. The nothing phone is a option but it's support is unknown yet.
Moto is fine but just be aware about its Android updates. Mine is Edge 20 fusion and believe me, whoever owns this device are frustrated like hell and are still waiting for the Android 12 update! (their all online forums are useless) Overall experience is good, but major updates is the where the issue is. I am not speaking for all the Moto phones but experience with Edge 20 fusion Android update is the worst.

p.s. I am a moto Asus user [not a toxic fanboy so don't worry be open]
I'd say if you don't care about updates, buy the X7 Max, excellent chip & display, good battery life, great speakers, 3.5mm HP jack, 8/128 or 12/256 & not huge & heavy like a brick!
@@morning5tarr updates matter man, they can fix issues that are popping up.
I disagree with some points of this video.
1. Regarding the 60 Hz screen:
The price of the phone is 44000. It is somewhat near half lakh mark.
It is expected that people paying this high will at least use the phone for 2 years. Will 60 Hz still be relevant then?
I agree that experience wise, it is likely not a big deal, but at this price, is that enough of an excuse to defend Google's hardware decisions?
2. Regarding how the pixel 6a will age / software stability:
None of the pixels have aged gracefully. I personally own a pixel and it is filled with bugs. The only thing going for this phone is the software experience, and seeing Google's track record, can you really be sure that it will not turn out to be just another buggy mess after a few updates?
Iphone 13 cost whopping 70,000k inr and still uses 60hz display..... Only 13 pro and 13 Pro Max uses 120hz display out of entire iPhone line apple sold.
This phone is made to compete with SE3 which sheeps hail as holy grail for best compact phone with only essential average person need..
And which pixel you use that has tons of bugs? (apart from 6 and 6 pro which are not launched in india)
Perfect man!One of the best videos i've seen for pixel 6a.I'm looking forward for it to come
what is heating point if we turn on wifi hotspot?
I daily drive a PIXEL 4A and ROG 2. People who are worried about 60Hz screen they shouldn't unless they are gaming. The stock experience is so fluid that you won't miss having 90 or 120Hz
Also Sir i want to say that video quality in any PIXEL phones is not upto the mark. They tend to be grainy and FAIL to use the computation which they use for photography.
And there is to my knowledge only ONE Service center in India in Mumbai.. You'll have to ship them via B2X which they will do free of cost during warranty period.
i think i understand why google doesn’t want to set up dedicated smartphone manufacturing in India, it’s because they don’t want any commitments.
think of the kind of attention google gives to things and then later just scrap them entirely. A dedicated Plant would be too much of a commitment from Google.
also, remember Android One? imagine if that was still around. Google just lacks commitment and that’s why India wont see cheap pixels anytime soon
Yeah, exactly!
Any thoughts on e-sim network connection?
Is it completely safe to charge the pixel6a with a QC 3.0 charger ??
17:57 What a clown🤡 lol😂, Google's FP is secure because it is slow🤣, It's slow coz google lacks in optical fingerprint tech, Chinese are fast not because they aren't reliable but because they have mastered that tech🤦🏻♂️ didn't expect this bullshit from Ranjit. Titan M2 is more gimmicky than chinese 2MP Macro😂
Yep, atleast you can see and use the 'bullshit' macro sensor. What about this chip? Phones these days using seperate processors for security 😂😂 and the fingerprint reader is faulty on all 6a units.
Good evening sir which mobile would u recommend to buy now apart from iPhone price range between 30k to 40k
Sir can I buy Sony WF-XB 700 TWS at 5900 ??

Is it best deal?
Ranjit Sir, I found out imported pixel 6 selling in Amazon at nearly identical price with pixel 6A. Any advice on this Sir?
@geekyranjit do we get unlimited cloud storage with this. I remember for pixel 2 they had unlimited cloud storage
I am really worried about charging speed.
Does it charge from 0 to 100 within 1½ hours ?
can I use any other brand charger the pixel 6a
Sir, Iam looking for a camera centric phone under 50k. Is Pixel 6a The best in that aspect or is there any option left which is has a better camera that this ?
Hi, does it support VoLTE and Carrier Aggregation???
