Nice! For what it’s worth, I still do everything with my iPhone. Haven’t damaged a phone making videos yet! Audio (particularly wind noise) is the biggest drawback. Until the revenue increases some more, investing in more expensive and sophisticated equipment doesn’t make much sense to me. I even edit on my phone, often on-the-go as I commute to Boston by bus or train. Switching to other cameras would foil that 🙁. The perspectives/shots a GoPro can give are definitely nice!

@@Academy_Farm Over time I’ve learned how to shoot the clips I want to tell the story of the day’s project. I don’t just leave the camera rolling and end up with lots of footage to parse down. My target is under 15 minute videos, and usually I have about 15-25 minutes of footage prior to editing it down. Now that I’ve gotten kinda good at my method, it might be hard to upgrade and change! I have no other background in video/multimedia either. So it’s all learn by doing for me 🙂.

Gopro cameras can upload to cloud then be downloaded on your phone/computer if you have a gopro subscription. Its fairly convenient.
