I Have the 229 legion and LOVE IT !!!! Finish is outstanding , had some weir on the finish but it comes back in time ( weird ) but it did !! I keep rubbing Oil on it and it seems the finish comes back !! LOVE !!
I first bought the Sig P229 Elite in .40 & while it's a spectacular gun I had to go checkout the Legion @ my FFL had one P226 & one P229 in 9mm for sale & after feeling it fit my hand so naturally I bought it! Sigs are pricey especially the Elite & Legion Series but I absolutely love it! This gun has everything I would normally buy aftermarket parts for. Great job Sig!
I bought a Legion not too long ago. Registered to get my nice case. I received a small, worthless range bag that I could buy at Academy for maybe 10 bucks. I was so disappointed. Luckily, I didn't buy it for the case. I bought it for the gun itself, which is an awesome firearm. But come on, Sig. Bring back the nice collectors case!
go (edited) Excuse me, You cannot get 15 rounds in the magazine. I just got P229 so far so good, but cannot get 15 rounds only 14 in all the 3 imagines that came with it. Anyone have this problem and what is the cure for this???
I follow MAC, and I don't recall him doing a reliability test on the P229 in the past. I just went to his channel again and did a search for 'P229' - no reliability test that I could find on his channel. He did a torture test on the P226 Legion and it seized up when it was filled with sand. Honestly, while I like a lot of the content on MAC's channel, I find some of the "torture testing" stuff a little ridiculous. I don't plan to fill any of my guns with sand/mud, nor would I count on any gun continuing to run correctly if I did so, no matter what anyone has demonstrated in a one-off test on the interwebs.

How is the recoil chambered in 357 sig on the p229? What would you compare it to recoil wise to other 9mm, 40 s&w etc

Let them sit with 14 until the spring starts to settle in or get stronger thumbs.
I think his jaw has a srt trigger in it.. Very short reset 😂
