I have my boosted for about a week now, and I have no problems with it. I live in NYC It works great, the boosted rev is like a vehicle not a regular scooter. I'm 6'2 and 226 lb and I hit 25 miles an hour.
No real problems here either, its a good scooter.
I have a Rev in nyc 225 lbs and I haven’t had any issues either. It’s a great scooter but you have to ride in mode 2 or 3 to make it worthwhile but of course the range suffers a lot
Battery life is garbage. No way to upgrade boosted in-house garbage battery 🔋
@@natelove187 You can, once they make a higher powered battery, it you can easily replace the old one.
The only problem is will they🤔
I love my Widewheel. The best thing for me is that I use a seat. This makes my commute to work safer.
Where to get the seat? I just got ww Pro dual, looking for throttle too
Loved this review man! You earned yourself a sub’
Thank you :}
Thank you for the detailed comparison review man!! I’m wondering which one lasts over time and I’m guessing boosted is going to have the superior customer service. Keep up the great work dude!
Thanks, Time will tell :}
I'm in love with the Wide Wheel!!
I love my Merchane Wide Wheel! Super fast and great off-road!!
Think Im going with the new 2020 wideWheel , good review thanks

Interesting, this is reassuring. I have the Wide Wheel duel motor and just assumed anyone with a Boosted Rev would regard it as superior given the brand recognition. Nice to know I made the right purchase.
Got mine today. Love it and this Video made me really happy.
Leon Heinrich how is it?
@@monty.montero now after 2 months its still amazing. other than it being illegal in germany now so i cant use it anymore.
you did for sure
@@Mrlemar1 it's OK it blends in, just dont use ludicrous mode when it's busy
Got the WideWheel and I love it
How long have you had it
36lewisful not sure
one thing i do wish Widewheel have is rounder tires like the REV
My WideWheel goes 25 mph and I went up steep hills in Monterey. Drove it 25 miles at 25mph , from Marina to Pacific Grove. Cost less and I put a seat on mine as well. Has cruise control, too.😁😁
how do you put a seat on it? Which website did you get it from?
how much do you weigh? please answer. does it go 25 miles at 25mph everytime??
Ha, I definitely ran into you on the trail off Huntley rd the other week when my dogs got out of the yard.
Nice videos, keep it up!
Yo let me test drive that boosted!
O yea man! I remember lol. Yes I live right by there on the golf course. Send me a message and we can connect so you can drive the Boosted :} I wanna get your thoughts on it.
Bro ur garage is a paradise...that wrangler is sick
Ha thanks man!
I research the wide wheel and purchased right before the boosted was made available. In the suburbs of Chicago as well can you recommend some great scooter trails? You didn’t go over cruise control. That Mercane cruise control at 15 mph comes in handy on longer trips.
Im in the NW burbs I basically ride around town and hit the Fox valley trail
Dan,
They all look like they would be a blast to ride. Loving the videos. Not used to seeing your garage not covered in tools. #TIACREW
Ha thanks man!
Looking at your garage, I can see you are, "KING OF THE MAN TOYS!!!" (Thanks for the great video too.)
LOL thanks :}.
Thanks for another good video bro. Love the red stands, what brand/model are they?

@@MidLifeToys awesome, thanks!
Badass!!
Very informative video. The WideWheel does not have regenerative braking?
no
I went with the Uscooters Booster V (10.5 AH battery) because it was the only one that was under 25 pounds to carry and could go over 25mph for at least 20 miles and had durable build quality in light rain (Important). I got it direct from the Uscooters distributor in the USA with a pretty good instant discount for just under a grand. I've been riding it daily since April with no issues in NYC. I'm 200 pounds Rugby player build and it powers me with 15 pounds of gear up pretty steep hills without my ever having to put my foot down to help it get to the top of the hill. Downhill it will get close to 30mph. impressive for a single motor scooter. I dont think there is another scooter that does everything this well. I had a M365 clone with a 6.7 AH battery that required daily charging. Not this I can go three days on my short trips without having to recharge. And going from 7AH battery to 10 AH battery is huge. Dont go cheap ($600 or less) if you live in an area with any hills or if it rains or if you're over 140 pounds.
Just saying it's not just Xiaomi, Ninebot and Boosted.
Philly
Just got my widewheel. It’s a beast. Gps mine hits 27mph on flat ground and regularly cruises at 26mph. I’m a heavy guy as well and this thing doesn’t care. Hills, grass, gravel it just pulls me through it.
Awesome Congrats!
The angle on the boosted adds stability to handling it. You can turn by turning the front wheel, while on other scooters without angle you will fall if you turn. The same idea is with motorcycles. Google it, it's called rake angle.
I still don't like it
succinct ... good review
I recommended go with wide wheel because I owned one it's so comfortable and more Fun if you unlock speed limit.it will go 25 mph or more.
Punisher Rider how did you do that?

What are the jack stands you are using to hold up these scooters in this video?
amzn.to/3a0El2C
I have the widewheel pro but I don't like the tires without air. Makes for a rough ride even with suspension. The tires are wide, but they are not rounded, so you can't do any sharp turns. There's only like .5 inch of tire which isn't much. It's mainly good for straight lines. Torque is good. I got the upgraded throttle but still pretty sensitive. I would look for a scooter that has air tires and full suspension, not one or the other.
Check out the Mantis
If you lived in Seattle where it rains a lot and wanted a daily driver, which one would you pick?
Same here. Can the wide wheel be ridden in the rain safely?
Hmmm probably Boosted with he optional protection plan. You can ride the Wide Wheel in the rain. But for water I would go with whatever has the longest warranty/
Ground clearance between the two would be nice? I know the boosted is super low and scrapes a lot.
Widewheel has more clearance
Do you have any play in the handlebars with the widewheel?
no
Great video! Were you the scooter jack?👍🏻🛴
amzn.to/2YSMdOJ
Thanks 👍🏻
I got the wide wheel only problem i have is i wish the handles was able to lock once you pop them in place
they do
The 2020 WideWheel has a new display, front brake, 15Ah batt,... All in all, a better machine. Lauches like a rocket... I'm not a little person at 6'1 235lbs and I got 26-27 mph on my Mercane. Not too shabby... Scared myself actually... Removed the ludicrous mode and back at 20 mph... If you ride in eco, 12 mph. Put the cruise control on and follow your mates on their puny little Xiomies or rented scooters... BTW, hills... This thing is capable too. My older scooter carried me up hill but the range suffered a lot. Not a problem on the Mercane!
Awesome!
Hey where did you get those scooter stands ?
Amazon search motorcycle lift. ill do a video on them
7:10
but first...I give your review 10/10!!! 🎖🏆🏅🥇
This the second video of yours I watched and I'm very impressed. You're a MAN'S MAN. You know your stuff and gotta respect all the tools!!!
Yeah I know it's not ideal after spending $1600 plus taxes but I will put some clear silicone on that top lip that should help. What I don't like is that for the price they didn't include at least one suspension probably design team was too focused on just turning a skateboard into a scooter and skateboards don't have suspension that I know of but for the price that's a major design flaw.
It looks beautiful though and I might end up buying this along with a RadMini Folding in matte black.
SUBBED!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Ha thanks!
why isn't there any videos of that scrambler in the background???
They are coming
Wide wheel vs jubel..which one better?
Good morning I wanted to know the mercane wide wheel 2020 dual motor scooter or the kugoo m4 is better
Hmm never seen the Kugoo
How much deck space on wide wheel. It doesnt look like you can drive it with parallel feet
No you can't but it doesn't really affect the ride. I thought it would.
Please compare the wide wheel to the etwow booster v. It's pretty much the same price point with the same top speed.
Thanks for pointing that out. Looks very interesting. I will see what i can do.
I've got the etwow booster monster it's slightly cheaper than the wide wheel, similar top speed and small enough to carry on escalators and in lifts or upstairs because it's only 10kg might do a review video and one for the rear view camera with its own ap I'm using
The wide wheel is my precious and am waiting for mines to charge. I can literally pass those pesky bird and lime scooters with ease and also get chased by a little dog at the same time 😗
Price being equal do you personally like riding the Boosted Rev or Mercane widewheel?
Matthew Lee definetely the wide wheel i believe. the acceleration on it is ridiculous and just way more fun:)
Wide wheel. a ton more range and suspension.
Where can I get a lift like that??? Can you Please send me a link?? I really appreciate that. I own a WW-MERCANE 1000W.👌
Hydraulic Lift Table - amzn.to/2KmlUei :}
So is the whidewheel better than the boosted rev I’m assuming it
yes
Why didn’t you talk about build quality with the widewheel?
The Wide Wheel has better quality mechanical brakes than the Boosted but lacks in the electronics department compared to the Boosted. Both are quality overall in my book.
Which is better a
E-Scooter S1, Electric Scooter or Voyager Ion scooter
I haven't seen them, so I don't know
Who got the recall notice for the wide wheel
I did for the back brake. Going to do a video on it.
@@MidLifeToys the way fluidfreeride is handling the recall is brutal!
I order wide wheel love you video
Thank you :}
I have the rev and everything is good
you should try the ninebot kickscooter Max
Yes, I will look into it. thanks!
pneumatic wheel? isnt it solid
On the Wide wheel yes
Damn it, when we all start living like that?
Which one is better??
They both are good. each has pros and cons
Widewheel 6 hr full charge
Which one is faster?
They are pretty close, very even
Beautiful Jeep...
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you
How heavy?
44lbs Dualtron and 46lbs Rev
Very...😬
Wide Wheel all they way baby!
Why is own cheap and expensive if there the same thing is because the name
wide wheel is best
Thanks for the vid man. If you use the regen brake more on the Rev you'll swap your brake pads less. Rev def. claims a much higher level of weatherproofing. See my latest vid on how the weatherproofing works on the Rev. (I take it apart, take out the battery). Water is designed to go under deck and drain out 4 weep holes on the bottom of the metal frame. If you live in Seattle like me better weathproofing is a major plus. Rev also has 12-month vs. Wide Wheel 90-day warranty. Also, I have hear of Mercane wheels denting much easier due to solid tires. Not trying to be a fanboy, just pointing out some other differences. Actually just ordered a Mantis Pro to get something with more range/power/suspension. Vid on how weatherproofing works on Rev: czcams.com/video/vMAP4FBcLDI/video.html. Cheers
No worries, The Boosted is a quality scooter no doubt about it. Time will tell which one lasts the longest. They are both good, just for $400 less the WideWheel is more bang for the buck and more comfortable for me at-least. Good video :}
NOt trying to be a fanboy ( 'Boosted" Luke ) very hard to believe. :D
@@roscalalmodovar6584 ha - well i mean i only own the Boosted now, but if a better all-round product comes out that meets my needs, i'd have no issue switching. so far nothing combines waterproof + power + weight + warranty/customer service yet. some have better range, but not waterproof. some have more power, but limited warranty from a much smaller company. etc.

I wouldn't recommend the boosted rev.. So many issues with the scooter. I bought one it won't even charge and keep shutting off. Posted a video to warn people of this issue. Might get the wide wheel
Wide wheel pro Handlebar is a shit, always shaking. You pay an huge amount if money and they give you this cheap handle bar. The speed and the range are amazing, even the design, but very unstable.
And this is one of the most important things. Also at the closer look at the mount for the steering wheel in Boosted is solid like a bike mount not to mention how wide it is.
guess your advertising to buy a Jeep
Just get a dualtron best e scooter out there
Rion makes the best scooter, and has the videos to show it smoking a dualtron x on you tube. They have not made the rion available to the public not just yet but they are coming.
@@coreybarnes8860 omg 100mph!!! but at $6800 I can think of better travel alternatives like a scooter around $3k-$4k and use the rest buying protective equipment. I live in Midtown Manhattan I just need something safe, stable, not heavy, that can fit in my little studio apartment...but hey if you got the money enjoy it!!! 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Save your self headache and money and buy the Boosted scooter. I learned the hard way. I have a electric skateboard named Skatebolt which costed $600, great speed, range, and wheels. The battery sags under 50%. The battery started to die and reduce my range within 4 months. Amazon seller replaced my battery for free (6 month warranty). Five months later same issues losing range again and battery sag under 50%.
5 months ago I bought a Enertion Raptor 2.1 electric skateboard my biggest regret to date. Rear wheels are coming apart (known manufacturing defect but not when I bought, lucky me!), battery sag under 60%, battery stated range less than half and range is down 30%, remote USB connector fell off (known manufacturing defect but not when I bought, lucky me again!), and it cost me $1400. I should have bought a Boosted Stealth and saved $400 and a lot of headache. My friends with Boosted boards have driven 500+ miles and only issue is motor band needed replacement ($20).
Boosted makes the best electric skateboards by far! Agreed. However the scooter market is a bit more populated and filled with big brands like Segway, Dualtron, Xiaomi etc... Boosted waltzed in with big promises, name recognition and big influencers praising its innovation and performance.. Not so easy when there are many other quality scooters out there like the Wide Wheel with the same if not better performace especially in the range department. The Boosted is a midlevel scooter to me. Boosted has made a campaign to make it "trendy" to have a Boosted. Just for myself as an avid scooter enthusiast I feel very underwhelmed from what was expected from thier online campaign and what arrived at my door.
It's the same with the Super 73, big influencers said what the company wanted and made them famous. The Juiced Hyperscrambler blows away the Super73, but you rarely hear about that because they didn't rely on a campaign with influencers. I am not ripping on any of the influencers, I follow most of them and they are great. They just haven't compared these things to other units and if the Boosted was the first scooter I ever saw I would think it was the best thing since sliced bread also. Get on a scooter with a good suspension and you will never look back. I look very forward to Boosteds second scooter when and if one comes out.
@@MidLifeToys You make valid points. For me the risk of more battery issues isn't worth it to buy a Wide wheel or a Mantis(really fast and great suspension), which have a 6 month warranty and no track record of dependability to date. Hopefully, they last as long or longer than a Boosted, because I would want a Mantis over Boosted for the speed, range, and suspension.
Please do a follow-up video after a year on the Wide wheel and Boosted Rev.
Yes, battery is key! So far, so good on all my batteries except for the Cycleboard which lost a lot of capacity for some reason. The boosted is under charged like Dualtron does to extend battery life.
I preordered the wide wheel and then cancelled due to bad reviews. Then I preordered the Rev and cancelled that due to no release date at the time. Still waiting to decide. Hmmm
@@79Sarwar if you go with the widewheel make sure to go with the 2019 version which is on back order right now I understand they fixed a lot of the issues. Personally, I have the Rev on preorder and will go with it due to my experience from electric skateboards.
Wide wheel sucks don’t buy
