@@francine13 there's no wrong way but there's a common way. Most people don't unwrap the whole chocolate and they just snap off each triangles instead of biting it off.

I saw another channel talking about his time working on a cruise liner and for the crew mess he had a very different take on what the crew ate: it was basically just rice and mystery meat 7 days a week for him, but he mentioned that there were crew members that had preferential treatment (I.e. the entertainers, singers etc.) and the regular crew that weren’t as lucky. Most of what the guy said was pre-COVID, so I wonder if things have improved for the general staff.

I used to go a Bulgarian bakery, they called those "salt sticks" Kifla. Those look like much smaller versions but the same thing. Seriously so good out of the oven! I miss that bakery
I recommend you to try those 'damak' chocolates they're from turkiye and really delicious -also I think you would love bc of the pistachios so nutty and yummy!
I hope your visa issue gets resolved soon, and you can get off the ship and try the different foods other than butter chicken or tikka masala, do try Goan foods too
