Forza Horizon 4 has solved 90% of its ramming problem by ghosting players at start, usually until they clear corner 1, and then temporarly ghosting players if they're about to colide at significant speed difference. It's not pretty solution, but it works.
Having a to-be rammer ghost past you, slam into wall, get hit with penalty, and ragequit on spot never got old.
I agree with you, but it seems to me that this solution with ghosts is not very correct in terms of competition, it’s still better to come up with another way to solve the problem for Forza Motorsport
The only reason people don’t smash into each other on purpose is irl is because of the costs and risk of death involved. Since both don’t apply to videogames, people will ALWAYS use your car to either slow down or get around corners. Because here’s the ugly truth: The vast majority of humanity absolutely sucks. Your only chance at a clean online race is with handpicked friends.
The consequences of stupidity should be game over. Online would improve.
Some times I think wreckfest has better drivers than forza.

All of the collisions were avoidable, total time penalty is infinity. I enjoy these videos but also hope I'm not in them 😂

It's a shame that I'd played cleaner races in Grid Legends online, FM matchmaking and online system in general is a joke
Almost every race start I am fascinated by this collection of idiots. Will they ever learn that you don't have to win a race in the first corner? Or mastering not to drive into other cars when starting and accelerating straight ahead? As if they were equipped with magnets, it's strange.
I'm currently unsure about qualifying. Sometimes it's better to start at the front and manage to stay ahead of the no-skillers and toxics.
Starting from the back also has advantages - unfortunately you often get stuck in wreck fests like this. People also don't seem to realize that such childishness also slows them down.
The first turn in 8 out of 10 races is a tragedy) As for starting without qualifying, I do this so that there is some kind of challenge for me and my skills, if I start from the first positions the race will be monotonous and uninteresting, and there will be no such videos)
