wreckfest has cleaner racing than forza
Im afraid it lands squarely on Turn 10 as the penalty system in the game allows it and even rewards it. You get penalties for getting rammed off the track in this game while the offenders speed away. Of course people are going to be dirty cheats while they can get away with it. I stopped playing this game online for this reason and wont touch it until i see its fixed. Sadly i know it wont be though!

To add another point to this conversation: They can act like that cause Turn10 let them.
Turn full damage on, ghosting at highspeed collisions, and most important: Drive trough penaltys without changing tyres and fueling. Kick voting.
Reset all rankings and let everyone start with at the lowest rank. Safety over skill rating. @@widjojohuang7854
This video is why I have my race setup all taken down it is not worth doing anymore and Forza is 0 help at trying to make it work. I am a happier person for the last month.
As a rammer myself I must admit that we rammers have paid for the game just like everyone else and we deserve to enjoy ourselves..so if I want to ram you then you better allow me to do so because I have the right!!!
This video proves we need separate lobbies option for people with good ping and poor internet. Like the clip at 2:40, NimetuUser gets spun around but Vauxhall driver doesn't seem affected at all because of bad ping.

Some of these contacts (like maybe a third or less) were the fault of the pov driver. I think if you didn't have the racing line on, you'd have less of a tendency to try to go by it, and would've avoided contact on a few of these incidents. A couple times you did really well giving space, and other times not quite enough avoidance.
I think one of the problems is unexperienced kids get an xbox for christmas and get this game on game pass, and ram people because they think they're good enough to play without assists or weren't raised well enough to handle being passed or losing.
Good idea, but I think the problem is deeper :)
Not everyone of them is evil. Many people just can`t control their cars. They should have never leaved the entrance race level.
Their skill based match,aking system is terrible, even people with twice as much driver level as me go off track and crash into people. Not to mention the revenge ramming@@Standgedicht

What annoys me most: Turn10 forces me to invest 3-4 hours on each car so that I can install tuning parts.
But online, every idiot can let off steam after completing three races. Anyone who came up with the idea of giving everyone an S rating at the start should be fired immediately.
It would be relatively simple:
Full damage, ghosting in high-speed accidents, safety rating over skill and everyone starts at the lowest level.
Instead of time penalties, it would be much more effective if there were drive through penalties or a system like in GT7.
And earlyer DQ!
As for the level of the car and the ability to tune it, I’m more inclined to the gameplay like it is now, but I completely agree with you about online racing and the penalty system
@@nimetu This CarPoints system annoys me. Don't get me wrong, the idea is good that people get to know their cars and learn to drive. As a reasonably experienced racer, you might need 3 to 10 laps to understand what the car is missing and where it needs tuning.
It's just not fun to drive three to four hours in Free Play or Rivals to make the car competitive. Or you go into multiplayer and then lose twenty races against fully tuned cars. The parts simply too expensive. Especially if you want to move the car up two classes, say from a low A class to S800.
I just did it again recently: it took me half the day and I was only able to buy the racing tires at level 32.
Because the other parts were more important to begin with.
@@Standgedicht yes, I agree with you that the car upgrade system is a little time-consuming, but without it it would be uninteresting to play, a good move would be to slightly increase the upgrade speed
They won’t fix the bugs until 3 months before next release, if there is one. An by that time going back after patches won’t be worth it.
Some of these were because you were invisible to some drivers, if your car is bouncing weirdly & theirs isn’t at all, you don’t exist in their eyes, literally.
Gotta love people getting no penalties for ramming people off the track. Even better when the max penalty is something around 5 seconds so if it's just you and another dude competing for pole they can just sack you and win when in reality it should be an immediate DQ/drive through pits penalty + a ban.
After watching a little bit more, I can almost guarantee it which sucks. I waited for the update. I also paid for the pre-order.
I also look forward to every update and hope for fixes, but for now the developers can only add paid features and events, I hope that the Forza series does not go into the trash heap like the Need For Speed series
If you ever play need for speed, hot pursuit, it looks like a bunch of them are modded.
i like this game but the penalties, safety/skill rank and the matchmaking of this game seem non-existent, I had already lost hope in this game, but seeing a few days ago turn10 asking for a request for feedback on matchmaking in their forum made me gain a little hope that they want to make changes and fix this game

i got sandwiched between to people and hit from behind all in the first corner. and then got a 6 minute penalty.
I think the game is quite good but this penalty system is totally broken.
The community is the biggest problem with the game. It’s not for sim racers, it’s for idiots on game pass
I think if we put the system of fines and selection of players by skill in order, the situation will change for the better, but no one knows whether these changes will take place
@@nimetu It's 100% the community, you can have all the penalties and ranking systems in the world, most people who play Forza games are not interested in clean racing. There never was a single Forza game, Motorsport or Horizon, where people didn't ram others at will. Fact is, if you want realism, you have to be a masochist to keep on playing that game on public lobbys.
@@Baguenaudeur well, I still like this game, even taking into account the many cretins in it, of course they spoil the feeling of the game quite a lot, but if we take the general opinion about the game, then I like it)
@@Baguenaudeur If the penalty system works properly, such people will disappear on their own. Or they will just drive against each other. Other racers have gotten it under control too. For example, I doubt that the GT7 community is that much better. You only get punished immediately if you mess up. And do it sustainably, not just at the end of the race where it no longer matters.

Propaganda is what i see, he's in the crap lobbies due to his skills and from my experience in multi-player there are much more clean players than dirty.
A,S safety rating and 4500+ skill is better for racing online.

Safety S here ranking is 4300 - 4500. It`s exact the same.
