I moved from the iPhone X to the XS Max against the advice of basically every reviewer out there and your breakdown of all of the small yet noticeable upgrades (Smart HDR, Dual Mics, A12 Chip, Bigger Battery) etc made me realise that the upgrade has actually been quite underrated as it has been overshadowed by the lack of a monumental redesign which the iPhone X brought last year.
I feel very happy to have upgraded and I love the way you do three-way ties in order to cater to every viewer's preferences. Since I was 12 years old, I've watched your videos and the format is still familiar which I highly respect. For perspective, I'm now 21 and got my first iPhone 3G when I was 12, followed a year later by an iPhone 4.

Alex Lapinski I’m in the same boat, with an iPhone X. Debating it highly. I actually think $1,100 isn’t too bad when you consider that $100 is really nothing at that range anyway. I’m just concerned the phone is too large, but I’ve never had a plus sized phone so I’m hesitant

I’m using an iPhone 7+ still and I think I’ll upgrade to a 2019 iPhone whenever they come out.
I have all three of Mike's top three. I carry two phones and that is the Pixel 3 XL and iPhone XS Max. Occasionally switch back and forth between One Plus 6T and Note 9, but always end up going back to the original two. So far best award show I've seen, even better than MKBHD's which I totally didn't agree with the results. Congrats! Putting my SIM back in my Pixel as we speak!

I ended up buying the iPhone XS Max the other week, the only thing stopping me from buying the XR was purely the screen, not the PPI though but the black borders on the left and right of the screen, I hated it in person so chose the XS Max, the regular XS is wayyyyyyyy too small imo.

What is that strange round hole on the bottom of the note 9? Looks kinda familiar but Idk why... XD
I have a One Plus 6T. Before that was the Note 8 but could not see going to the Note 9 when I heard about the 6T. I am still waiting for a bigger screen to come to the US. Any phone by Huawei will probably never come to the US. HUAWEI Mate 20 X would be my pick though. How can you not love a 7.2 inch screen.

My previous phone was the Galaxy S8+ and bought an iPhone XS because I never had Apple. I'm so impressed by everything especially the battery because it's almost half the size of the S8+ and I was worried I was gonna be charging constantly, but a full charge easily gets me through the day.

Apple devices are irresistible. iPhone when you're out on the town, iPad when you're home on the couch, MacBook for work/productivity, Apple Watch for tracking your health/fitness activity, Apple TV for cinematic movies/shows on the big screen and Apple HomePod to rock the house with music.

To be honest the 6.5 inch display on the iPhone doesn't *really* count as the largest display since it has severely rounded corners and a huge notch. Diagonally, sure it's the largest but it has less usable area than the note 9 does.

I understand the point and importantness of iphone xr, but the list was supposed to be the best specs you can possibly get. That's why I think there are better options for its place (personally i'd pick huawei mate 20 pro).

The Note 9 takes my heart.. I think it's gorgeous, it has so many features, great screen, headphone jack, huge battery.. the colors.. I just love Samsung in general 🙏🏾😊

The Note 9 is 775$ here in Lebanon. In contrast the XS Max is around 1350$ for the 64gb. Weird
My favorite is the s9+. It does everything very well for me. Especially the display, 6gb's & stereo speakers!
