It always touches me when I see people celebrating their animals b-day, it's so cute. It broke my heart when my Zoe died. She was my best friend when my partner of 12 years and I split up. I should have paid more attention to her grief. She never complained, but was always there for me. Maybe she would have had a longer life if I hadn't been so selfish.

I lost my beloved Hans in May of 2020 ... he was only 14 and a rescue and my doggie soul mate. Semper looks very much like him ... so I shed a few tears over this video.

Very nice. I once had a German Shephard as well and had to leave him home for a 3 month trip. I made him a wonderful meal served on a plate, with knife fork and spoon aside and a glass of wine. He enjoyed it and three months later we were very happy to be together again.
@Girl Sage A friend of mine who was also the owner of one of the offspring of my shepherd. I had to go to England for a three month internship and there was a three month quarantine for dogs entering the UK at that time
Even my parents not treated me like this. He is not your he is your baby.i am literally thinking that you both are very caring to your shepherd and shepherd is also caring towards you. Hats off to you
He gets enough fun daily because he is at a forest preserve everyday for walks and play (usually with 2 sticks )and gets plenty of massages as he wishes.
Semper is Beautiful! He looks so much like our big boy German Shepherd that we had to put down a few months back, with the exception of size. Our big boy was named Diamond and he weighed in at around 130 pounds normally. But he started losing weight really rapidly and in 3 months he went all the way down to about 60 pounds and I had to put him down. But he never once flinched or complained because he loved being around us so much and he was so precious and playful too just like your boy.
Sorry to hear about your loss 😞 sounds like he was a great dog, I bet he had a great life! Semper just ate his dinner and had a treat now he’s tucked up in bed 😊
