#rainbow #stargazer #reaction - Zábava
"Stargazer" is one of the best combinations of voice, composition, musicianship, and story telling wrapped up into an epic masterpiece. Thus the reason this is one of my favorite songs. Ritchie Blackmore, Ronnie James Dio, Cozy Powell, Jimmy Bain, and Tony Carey and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra performed a song that will stand the test of time. Yes, more Rainbow reactions please. To really understand how good these guys were live, react to these songs from the 1977 Munich concert - "Mistreated", "Catch the Rainbow" and "Man on the Silver Mountain". These 3 stand out as exceptional even though the other songs from the concert are fantastic. This band was better live and their albums.
First album was the best and just unreal!! It all came together. Ritchie and Ronnie got along then.
This song could be made into a movie. You can see the whole story. A journey!
One of the best songs ever made
Fact
It's like a better version of Kashmir
Rainbow had so many great vocalists but this song just demonstrates Dio's epic greatness, incomparable to all that would follow. This was my first time hearing this track...amazing!!!!!!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Rainbow was lead by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore who was the guitarist from Deep Purple. Another great song from them was “The Man On The Silver Mountain”
I tried playing the opening drum part for over 25 years and I never did get it right.😂 Check out A Light in the Black, it’s the sequel to this song
"Stargazer" is my favorite Rainbow song! Pure Masterpiece from start to finish. Awesome reaction!
Best Rock Song Ever!! .... Best Rock n Roll Lineup Ever!!
What's truly amazing is this was 20 years before auto tune . Just pure talent.
Dio!!! The greatest!
What more can you ask for in an epic song like that? Starts of with Cozy Powell's slamming drum solo intro then an epic riff from Ritchie Blackmore, Dio's voice when he was young had a little more effortless power than everyone else. His voice and the lyrics paint a picture so clearly it makes me feel I'm in an ancient desert in Sumer ,Egypt, or Mesopotamia under hot skies and warm rain as a slave being beaten with whips and chains. Dying for a drink of water. The guitar solo is a killer too. Then Dio is singing with all his heart and might and that keyboard grows louder and louder with that Phrygian Egyptian sounding melody building the drama. Damn! It sounds like a movie on an Imax giant screen. I'm exhausted in an emotional when the song ends, but in a great way.
Ronnie was a great storyteller. Brought you right into his world and vision. So much emotion. Love him forever. And Richie yes also so much emotion tells the story with a different instrument.
My favorite song from Rainbow! I love this song! Thank you so much! R.I.P. Ronnie, we miss you! 🤘
Me too, can't beat it.
How majestic
Dio was an incredible singer and a super nice guy. Best version of Rainbow right here!! IMO
Favorite Rainbow song ever. This is when Ritchie and Ronnie got along and really worked hard on this record 💪
Me too, nothing beats it. Has all the elements.
Oh you've stumbled upon an epic one. Gates of Babylon is another epic
I love Dio, but I also love that solo so much that this was the first song I ever suggested to a friend of mine who's daughter is autistic and gifted at playing the guitar
If she liked that one, Kashmir has some really cool parallels to this tune!
listen to anything from Rainbow with Dio thats Rainbows best
Yup. The only Rainbow I listen to.
I love how open you are to all the different types of music! The look on your face always makes me smile! I swear, if you lived closer, I would have a bonfire and invite the entire fam and we would rock all night!
Hey Tammie and a couple of kegs 🤘I always say we were spoiled rotten with rock and metal. Keep on rocking 👊
@@Frank-jf2jm Oh man! There was ALWAYS a kegger or 2 and then pass that hat around to keep them coming! If I only had a time machine Frank! Just one weekend out at the river with that bonfire, good friends, music and a keg on ice! Peace my rocking friend!
Dio !!! Blackmore IS a master guitarist, and composer. He's a blues guitarist with a background in classical, and it really shows on this. That riff...is well...Blackmore.
"Catch the rainbow" is a somewhat underrated Rainbow soft rock with a beautiful solo at the end. Recommend!
My second favorite song from Rainbow. 1977 Munich live version is phenomenal.
It makes me really happy to see so many people discovering this epic song for the first time and totally rocking out in discovery
Yo biz. Anotha one. Greatness 🤘 man I was lucky to see Ronnie in rainbow Black Sabbath and in his solo career. Dio is a giant. RIP🤘
Does not get better than this, really! 😍
It's Rainbow...just pick a song....any song 😎
🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
DIO IS THE "Voice" of METAL.
First time Inheard this song it was 2018 and I was 41 and listening passively at work. When the line: I see a rainbow rising! -!is said, I stopped working and started to pay attention to the greatness & grandeur of this song.
I like metal and I've seen Dio and Black Sabbath in concert. Have the albums etc.
But I had never heard of nor heard this song until a couple years ago. Straight up masterpiece
It gives me chills to this say. I know what you mean.
Light in the black..is the sequel from this song... The first power metal song... Dio and Ritchie Blackmore is gold..
YES!!! he's one of the top 5 Metal singers ever. He was with Black Sabbath fir of their two best albums and his solo io catag. Good choice.
Epic Song ... Epic reaction! The only thing missing was an accompanying short film from Spielberg! Next track? - there can only be one and that's "Light In The Black" as this concludes the tale, the story, the rock opera - whatever you want to call it. But I'd suggest you study the lyrics of Stargazer first and then those of "Light" - but you'll need to tie your hat on!
Deep Purple guitarist Richie Blackmore is also in this band!
This band was started by the guitarist Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple 🔥🔥🔥
The next Rainbow song to do would be the second part of this story which is A Light In The Black.
Biz You had the stank face and the head bobbin going on this one. Legitimately great song
You should check out perfect strangers or knocking at your back door from '80s era rainbow. Ian gillan from deep purple was their singer then
Another favor you've done me thanks for that
As I was built in 1961 these are the songs I celebrate until now
Go on keeping the good work going
This is greatness. Todays artist can’t even touch this shit. Epic👊
Dude I can tell you're really feeling it
Temple of the King would be a good one to react to.
Do some more Deep Purple 💜. Blackmore is the shit man!
Complete monster of a song!!!
I've heard that the I'm coming home parts, were improvised by RjD
Big shout out to drummer Cozy Powell. That guy played with some of the best, and man, could he smack them drums, and still hold down the groove.
This song could be made into a movie. You can see the whole story. A journey!
One of the biggest and great singers of all time like Bruce Dickerson and three dog night and bond Scott of AC/DC
7:35 om, extra amazing emotion of longing in Dios vocals, I feel his voice in my soul!
the best rock song ever
Dio s singing in this song always gets my arm hair up every time
Anything with Richie Blackmore on the main axe is good by me.
Those sound of the drums @ the beginning -Magic!
You have to listen to mistreated live by rainbow unbelievable vocals the song impeccably written by Richie Blackmore the solo unreal musicianship unsurpassed you wil be mesmerized
Glad you liked it. Light in the black should follow.
Wow….Subscribed yesterday, then you react to my favorite all time singer & song the very next day….. R.I.P. R.J.D. “Master Shalyrics God” 🤘🏼🤘🏼
“Love can be seen as the answer…
But nobody bleeds for the dancer” 🤘🏼🤘🏼
The keyboard player - he had a one-hit-wonder under the name Planet P. Look up the video for Why Me. Good early 80’s MTV video.
if you wanna see ritchie blackmore guitar try rainbow tearin out my heart live
Epic🇸🇪, nice reaction dude..
RJD ~!!!!!! ONE OF ONE;!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really wish you had pulled up the shlyrics on this one, very powerful, many themes that hit on even to this day. You hit the nail on the head on the musicianship. Imagine Ronnie James Dio is the lead singer and the band is called Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow. Phenomenal guitarist.
This song is EPIC!
PHENOMONENAL 🌈
WOW, what a performance. Dio is almost operatic.
saw them do this live in the 70s
Man On A Silver Mountain
Rest in power Ronnie
The story of this song reminds me to never join a cult
Gates of Babylon is a must
excellent
DEEP PURPLE-MACHINEHEAD the whole f'in album ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
RIP Ronnie
They got down
R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio 🤟🏼
Try Long live rock n roll, The Shed off LLRNR Man on the silver mountain hell if you just pick an album and play from first groove your gonna be happy
Love the Shed, that is my deep cut treasure.
Love Dio!
One of the earliest, iconic heavy metal songs that truly mark the beginning of that genre. I actually enjoy the first two Rainbow albums, try 16th Century Green Sleeves from the first album. Here is a band you should give a listen two if you like the heavy power riffs even before Rainbow. Try Budgie. The song is Nude Disintegrating Parachutist Woman. yep, that is the song title.
I know I´m old, but GEEEE - they made MUSIC in my day! Did you already check out Dio´s time with Sabbath? Heaven and Hell - to me, their best album.
Check out the band Rain Parade
Dio is the G O A T!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Next from Rainbow? KILL THE KING.
Dio is and was the best heavy metal singer!!
man on the silver mountain is heavier
Hard to go wrong with Ronnie James Dio
