It (also known as Moléson-Village) is a village in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Fribourg. The village is situated in the municipality of Gruyères, south of Bulle, at a height of 1,132 metres above sea level. Moléson
The Moléson (French: Le Moléson) (2,002 metres) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, overlooking the region of Gruyères in the canton of Fribourg. It lies at the northern end of the chain between Lake Geneva and the valley of the Sarine. The summit of the mountain can be easily reached, a cable car station being located near the summit at 1,982 metres as well as a meteorological station. Fribourgeoise
The Fribourgeoise or Freiburger was a Swiss breed of cattle from the Canton of Fribourg in western Switzerland. From about 1966 it was systematically cross-bred with imported Holstein stock. It became effectively extinct with the death of the last pure-bred bull in 1973, and was absorbed into the Swiss Holstein. The Fribourgeoise was a traditional Swiss breed of cattle from the Canton of Fribourg in western Switzerland. A Fribourgeois bull took first prize at the second Concours agricole universel in Paris in 1856. A breeders' society was formed in 1890,  and a herd-book was started in 1898[4] or 1899.  In 1903 a bull named Garibaldi was sent to be exhibited in Milan, but was refused entry because it was named for the hero of the Unification of Italy; only after the name had been changed was it allowed to enter the country.
    Cor des Alpes / Alphorn
It is a woodwind musical instrument from the brass family. Appeared in the fourteenth century, it was initially used to communicate at a distance in the mountains. It is mainly found in Switzerland, but also in Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Ukraine and Romania. It was used to warn a village of danger, or to call villagers to church, as sound can travel long distances, and echo in valleys. It was also used by shepherds who practiced alpine transhumance. The alphorn was already known in Switzerland in the mid-sixteenth century as the lituus alpinus. The first mention of the instrument dates from 1527 and there is an illustration of it on a stained glass window in Adelboden dating from 1595. From its inception, by the length of its tube greater than that of the metal horns of the time, the alphorn was an advanced instrument, musically speaking.
