Beautiful video, as always, Jael! The item your auntie used to drain the vegetables is called a salad spinner (in America). This is the first time I’ve seen it used to spin vegetables. I’m going to have to start using mine for that too. Very clever!

Wow, Auntie has a beautiful home in a beautiful neighbourhood. The veggie dish look great, I can't say I'll try it though because cooking is just not my thing. I think its good that your aunt retired while she is still strong and fit so that she can do the things she really enjoys doing, at her own time and terms. I'm the aunt in my relationship, my nieces are only a few years younger than me. I grew up being close to two and spent some school holidays together even in Uni. At some point the one I was closest to got married and her husband kind of isolated her from the family and then one day he just up and disappeared. It's really sad because she fell into a deep depression and was hospitalized, she must've felt really like she couldn't talk to anyone and since she removed herself from all of us, we couldn't even help because we didn't know😥
