Being able to do things for yourself is one of the best skills in life. More people need to understand that things are common sense and learn to do things for themselves. Great job and it will be very helpful for you
Until you try, anything is hard to do. I was raised in the countryside, and we did just about everything that needed to be done around our house and in the field for vegetables and raising cattle, hogs, horses, chickens, and other things that we did. Including planting flowers, herbs, and other things
Yes I did and I still raise fresh vegetables and herbs in the back yard where I live now. I do not get sick like a lot of people who live around my neighborhood either
The red mud at the bottom of houses is an issue across Africa. Many people don't pay attention or they don't have time. You are doing a beautiful landscaping. The garden is immaculate!!
I love your drainage idea. It also doubles as a walkway for you. As I suggested to another CZcamsr, you might also consider a low hedge of evergreens around the perimeter of your home. While it is not necessary, it could still provide a camouflage for the stained areas and provide more interest to your beautiful home. 😉 I love your content. ❤
Your tree pot is very beautiful. However please keep an eye on this old tree. The trunk is now partially covered and it make lead to rotting of the trunk and the death of the tree. Love watching your videos.
I am from Botswana, retired human resources development manager. I did exactly what you have done I enjoy it so much. Have house in the city but find it boring. Enjoy, best decision ever
Awesome. Just wondering.. are there people out there who would love to spend their retirement days in the noisy cities? Enjoy your retirement dear. Blessings
The look very beautiful. You are a very intelligent and inspiring woman that every woman would want to be like you. Your parents must and would be proud of you for all the support and happiness you bring to them. Your precious children would love you the same way you love your parents Amen
I just came across your Programme, I am really enjoying it.Leave the bricks as it is. I love the colour of the bricks and the cement, they both blend well. Thank you !!!. Which country are you in. I am in Guyans South America.
@@jaelofthevillage oh, that's nice, I have been to Kenya and some other Morher Africa Places. Your Attorney General Mr Molie is an Inlaw. You must come to Guyana Inshallah. Looking forward to your next Lesson!!! Thanks.
Your doing well Sister , thank you for updating us. The bricks looks nice, I think this is my own opinion, you should plaster it and smooth it in case of any spillage you can be able to clean 🧽 ❤️✌🏾
Hi Jael, hapo kwa slab you would have placed that black ajwala first. I also got to make tree vases and painted them white, they reflected the solar security lights at nights and brightened the compound. Very neat work Jael
You made the best choice to live in the country…

Thanks @namuki2001. I think the polyethylene is important indoors to avoid dampness. I stand to be corrected.
@@jaelofthevillage i recall being told that the ajwala would prevent plants and weeds from growing in the slab
Oh that makes sense. Thankyou. I hope they won't grow😰
Very nice and landscaping is very important for a house

Do you have a compost bin so that you can recycle kitchen scraps and over ripe fruit etc?
Yes I do.
If possible you can also plant poison ivy and it’s beautiful as it ‘climbs ‘ the tree.
Thanks for this
