So much fun ! I'm from Germany and we give a "Schultüte" to the children's first day of school. Only for the very first day. It's a large cone-shaped treat bag full of school supplies candy and gifts. Since we homeschool in the US I give my children one for the beginning of their official Kindergarden year. I said all of this to say that I just got a large haul of things from the dollar tree too. You just can't beat the dollar tree! Your children are blessed 🙌
We do the same thing in Poland, cone shape treat bag for the first day of school but only for first graders.
I do it now more often only at 62' and stage #4 cancer now.. other wise maybe twice a year.

My friend got one of those from her German husband, when she started college, that was the first time I came across the concept. No idea why we don't have that in Denmark, we're pretty close to you, after all :)

This video made me so nostalgic! Since my youngest graduated from high school 4 years ago, I have no more need to buy school supplies, and I miss it so!
Find a needy family to buy some for or find out if you can buy for foster kids and drop off so the your local foster care office.
I buy school supplies when target clearances them 90 percent off. I donate them to a local school that has a lot of low income students. They are put in the teachers stash and if a student needs something the teacher provides it.
I hope Benjamin got the dinosaur he had to leave on his last trip! I remember him apologizing to it for having to leave him behind! So cute! I love your kids!
today is the 10th. my cataract surgery yesterday was just fine. i pray your procedure went well also and the Lord blesses you with a speedy recovery. the happy baskets are a good idea! they will all appreciate them.

Hey Jamerril, I got your your freezer meal pack a few months ago when I discovered your channel and it’s amazing!! There’s only 4 in my family but we eat one meal for dinner that day and then we freeze the rest for meals when I am working! It’s been so helpful. I haven’t met the pumpkin I didn’t love. I’m always adding to my collection at DT or the Target $ Spot even though I already have plenty. I definitely don’t get tired of hearing about your health. It’s a good opportunity to pray for you and your family. I love seeing how gracefully you roll with everything that happens in life and keep smiling. I’m so happy I’ve found your channel. Also - what a sweet idea to make up baskets for the kids while you’re recuperating. I know they loved them.

I make goody bags about every 3 months from the dollar tree for my 5 grandbabys....so very fun....
I find it sooo challenging to buy them stuff as they get older. Especially the teen years

Wow! Your Dollar Tree is stocked to the hilt! The one in our town usually only has mostly bare shelves. It's never stocked, never anywhere near that!

I went to my dollar tree last week and they had all the Halloween/Fall stuff was out. So I had to pick up some too.lol Loved the pumpkin spice and everything nice sign so had to buy that! That’s a great idea to make goodie bags for the kids while you’re recovering! I love dollar tree!!

You remind me of my mom who would do things like this for occasions like your surgery, if something was happening with her. She was always very thoughtful and creative in that way when we were kids.

I always decorate for Fall. It’s my favorite season ! I actually stopped at Dollar Tree for birthday cards and wound up buying a bunch of fall stuff! Lol. It will all probably be sold out soon and Christmas decor will be out!
