I keep one placemat in the center of the table with the napkin basket on it. I switch it just about every month for the holiday/season. It lets me decorate a little, but I can still wipe the table
When you are done living your best "fancy mama placemat life" they can be re purposed and fulfill their destiny in your freezers, stopping gallon bags sticking to your shelves. Winner winner freezer meal dinner!

We have an Amish country store close to us that I’ve been able to frequent over the years and get wonderful deals like sharp shopper. I’ve always been so thankful for it because it’s helped me to be able to buy healthier options much of the time for half the price!
I even tried to look up an Amish Store to see if one was near me. No luck! I’d even be willing to make a day trip if I could find one. You’re lucky.

Well, after thinking about it for a long time I decided to purchase your Mega Bundle (I just received my printables PDF yay). I might not have a large family of mine yet but it doesn't mean I cannot be helpful to the family I already have and others, so I decided that for now your amazing recipes will help me lighten some of my Mother's chores, or as I like to call it "House Blessings" as she is also working full time 🤗 The Kitchen is my Happy place and feeding people might as well be my mother tongue, so I am beyond grateful to be able to help my Mother and feed happy bellies thanks to you !

I Love all the country themed placemats! You got a lotta good stuff on your hauls on that shopping day !Thank you for taking us along at the stores and for showing us your haul ! I love seeing what you can get at Sharp Shopper ! Such good buys there .. I wish they would come down South and put in some stores down here , close to me would be real good ! 😜Your children will love all the goodies you got them for their Easter baskets ! I better hurry up and go to our small $1.25 Dollar tree and get a few more things for my Grandchildren’s Easter baskets! Definitely will get the paddle ball set and some craft sets ! I love DT for stuff like that .. I buy little snacks for them usually the cheese and the bread sticks is one that they love and some of the name brand iced animal crackers ..so good! I don’t worry too much about the quality of food there.. I look at the labels for ingredient content and if that passes my radar then I get it .. as we all know a lot of food comes from usually one company and packaged there with different labels on them and distributed to the stores that carry that brand I’m thankful my small town has a DT as I shop at it a lot ! Placemats good for play dough time!
When I was young in the 60s. We made had those Looms. But, they were made with metal. You could change the dimensions . We made pot holders like crazy. We also went door to door selling them for a Nickel! And my sister made a winter scarf. The loops for them, were much nicer then, they are now. We road our bikes to the Dime Store, to buy more. It was Fifty Cents, for a bag, I think. But, the bags were much smaller. You could buy bags with all the same color, or with mixed colors. That’s the 1960s for you. When a candy bar was a Nickel. A Dairy Queen cone was a Dime. And there were tons of Penny Candy.

You could freeze the go gurt and use them as frozen ice poles, and if you have some in a cooler bag by the time they defrost you will then have yoghurt to come back home with x

Around Easter my grandmother and mom and aunts would make homemade Easter candy all by hand for all us kids and homemade cookies and pies and cakes all for Easter. My grandfather and my dad and uncles would start the day before Easter roasting two whole pigs for Easter dinner. Us kids that can cook will make all the side dish and dinner rolls for Easter dinner.

I went to two Dollar Tree stores on April 4 and there was not much Easter stuff left. My oldest grand son is getting a Teenage Boy NKJV Bible. And some treats. The younger grand kids are getting mostly treats and Resurrection graphic novels. I am making and decorating large, personalized Easter Egg cookies for each family member.
Wonderful ideas! I just put an Amazon order in for a few more things. Got them all a cross made out of olive wood, hopefully they can keep until they're grown ups. 💜

Those are some great gift ideas ! I’m getting my Granddaughter a cross necklace this year. I try to always give a God/ faith related gift as often as I can ! I already have several books on life issues that teenagers go through that are God/ faith based that I will be giving her and a boys cross necklace and a book for my Grandson for his age level that’s God/Faith based ..so many good things for kids nowadays that are Godly …I love always showing them how important God is in our lives !
We used to live in Harrisonburg VA. Two places that I miss are Gabriel Brothers and Sharp shopper. I am on a mission to find something similar in my state.
