Redo or 1 shot....??? More often than not it is a 1 shot deal. I may restart a page 2 or 3 times but it will depend on how far I've gotten... So glad to have you coming back!!!

Hmmm. Before I watch this vid, I'm mostly a one and done... Or a start one, leave it... If I like what I did, I will continue. If I didn't like what I did, I might start it over... However, I will say that when I was working as a behavioral therapist, I ended up redoing some art that I had done when I was younger, with my clients. But it was all by fluke. Otherwise, it's pretty much one and done. Hmmm, however, I do like the idea of one and do it better! Ok, I got chores to do now, but when I watch this, I will comment my way through it!😅
I can't re do stuff. I'll practice, sketch things to get an idea of how I want to draw or color something, but if a project ends up different from how i want or i lose interest, i can't revisit it.
For me, it depends on the image and how invested I am in it (PDF’s/digital downloads). Most of the time, I can do an image all the way through and generally I am happy with it. On occasion though, if I really like the image and really want to do it and I mess something up, then I will re-do. That just isn’t the norm for me though. Perhaps, that is because if I really like the image, I normally take my time with it.
I've yet to do a picture a second time - but when I messed up one of my first tries in Hanna Karlzon, I bought a second copy of Daydreams to emotionally free myself to try things and make messes - may never use it but now messes don't bother me. I have a Hanna Lynn book with doubles - so I can try twice if I want. Just got Christine Karron Wildflower folk - and if I have a pic in the one other book I have of hers, I'll try in the cheaper book first as a practice. But I'm so very slow that it is hard to imagine coloring twice except for that.
Great to see you Lori hope you know always am praying for you and your family. Love hearing your reviews of pictures. I haven't ever done a picture over. It goes in the trash if it's really bad if it's a new technique I leave it in the book so I could go back and look at my progress but since I can't hold a pencil anymore I just look at your videos because you are so sweet so much you have done for me throughout the years I have followed you. Thanks again for sharing your Amazing talent with us. ❤
Hi Lori, I'm a re doer. Not every picture gets redone. sometimes I don't have another copy. Sometimes I just like a picture so much I want to do it again so I can do it differently. One picture I did twice was a "fashion" picture. One I did the dress in blue the other I did the dress in green.
Love this video. The ring of pearls is a great memory. I try very hard not to do it but there are times when I look back and have committed the sin. The picture is so cute. I want to see it when she finishes it. May that elephant was born with an extra toes who knows. I do have a question. Lori are you still going to come out with the base paint to sale to the public. I can color all day but making base paint myself. I don't know. Love you and so enjoy your videos. Keep on Keeping on.

I am both. A fixer, if I know how to fix it or in some cases I will do it over if I really like the artists work.
One time shot for coloring, do-overs on straight watercolors for me. Happy to see you!

Too many books with pages to color! So a do over seems a waste of time when other pictures are shouting, "me, me, me, me!"😅
