Only system out there that really works well and nothing touches the side of your boat only the run rail keeping your new boat looking pristine. I’ve been pretty amazed how well it works.

Are the posts still made from steel, welded to the plates on steel springs ???

Galvanized steel with gray poly sleeves that slide over them. The poly covers can still spin on on the post as they make contact with rub rail on your boat. And are easily replaced if needed. Keeps the side of your boat looking pristine since nothing makes contact with it loading and unloading your boat.
