    Give us a ballpark on what this would gross in the short-term rental market... Was my estimation on netting about 50% of gross in the other comment close to accurate? Taxes, maintenance, management, etc...
    Love your tours. Hopefully, I'll be in the market in a few years and I'll give you a call.

      That's a good conservative estimate. It should not go over that at all. Management fees would be between 20-30%.

      @CW Moss 10% is the going rate here for long term rentals, but short term rentals are definitely higher

    I'm surprised they couldn't work in en-suites for each bedroom at this price point. The demand speaks for itself though!

      With the STVR opportunities, this house is probably a good $500k more that it would be somewhere else. So you have to think of it as a $1.6M house with a $500k commodity attached to it.

      He did say the home getting that was bigger and had a pool... Also, that's gross $, not net. I'd be surprised if you were able to net 50% of gross after management fees, maintenance, taxes, etc. So, on a $3M house, you'd probably net $150k which is about a 5% return.

      5% is killer in this market. Anything over 4% is a bit of a unicorn right now.
