Thanks for yr delicious recipe which is favourite in our family.
Thanks so sharing this. I prepared this yesteruds. I think I kept it on fire for bit long. After cooling I had lot many pieces of hard stone. I then put all it in the mixer after making smaller pieces with hand and ground it fine and then kneed with water. Thank God It dint go to waste. Also it's very very sweet even though I put only 175 gms of sugar. Next time will try with 125/ 150 gms . :) Merry Christmas to you n fly!

I use regular sugar Martina.
I want to know why oil comes sometimes and sometimes it is perfectly fine
Great. Well explained. Thanks
Lovely voice. So pleasing to hear

Woww
Thanks Ma'am for explaining very well ur Milk Cream & Marzipan recipe.
I tried Milk Cream but it turns dry very soon wen u allow it to cool, but i made it
Hazel, that means it has cooked for too long. For future reference, you need to take it off the heat a lot sooner than that.
Have you tried adding the almond flavoring after removing from the heat to prevent the heat from evaporating it?
your marzipan look amazing. you have finely ground the cashews. your color scheme is real good.
Thank you Edward. 😊
Hey,
Made a huge batch of Marzipan today. Followed your recipe and they came out PERFECT! Thank you so much for sharing. Feeling thrilled 🙃
Thats great to hear Michelle. I'm glad you liked the recipe. Dont forget to post a pic on Instagram and tag me @theaspiringhomecook
I tried this out yesterday and it came out beautifully - is it ok if I reduce the amount of sugar for the next batch I make? This is Janis
Thank you for the detailed and excellent explanation of the most desirable of sweets on the kuswar platter. Could we use roasted cashew nuts for this receipe? I have got a box of v good quality cashews - only thing is, they are roasted and not raw.
Hi Vanessa, I'm not sure if roasted cashew nuts would work. The oil content, the colour etc. will be different. If you want to try it out, try a very small batch and see how it goes.
Wow very nice and looks great too., In Bombay, the East Indian community has been making this since Portuguese times.
Thank you for this ' never fail' recipe. God Bless!
Thank you for this video. I'm inspired to make Christmas sweets this year. I tried looking for the answer to my question in the comments but didn't find any luck - hope you get to read this comment and I get my answer before I attempt to make this .
Question - how long can we store this sweet for ?
Hi Richa, it depends on the weather. If its not too hot, it should last for a week to 10 days. You can store it in the fridge to increase shelf life, but it could sweat a little when you take it out of the fridge.
Awesome👍
Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe. The way you explained it made it so easy to follow and for the first time I can say that I managed to make the perfect marzipan... all thanks to you 🙏😊
Thank you for your feedback Fiona. I'm so happy the recipe worked well for you. Don't forget to tag us in the pictures of your finished dish on Instagram. I love seeing what others make with the recipe 😊
Awesome, it seems so easy to make the homemade marzipan. Thanks I shall try making it. We get the readymade rolls but they seem hard to work with. Can I dust powdered sugar in the moulds so they drop out easily. I have the ancient rubber mould bought in the 70’s.
Hi Olive, I find that if the consistency of the marzipan is right, you should be able to get them out of the rubber moulds fairly easily too without having to use sugar. Try using the cold water test as shown in the video to check when the marzipan is done. Hope this helps.
