In this video jay does a beard shape up with a beard blend. Fading a beard can be kind of tricky if you don't know what your what your doing. Jay starts off with beard fading process. First step jay takes the t out liner and brings the beard down to the area were the client wants it. Step 2 jay grabs his wahl clipper and start with a guide line for the beard fade. he uses the machine all the way open. followed by by the 1 and a half guard to start the blend. next step for the beard blend he drops down tooth 1 then the half guard. after the beard is all blended the last part is to us you hair clipper all the way closed and start to blend out the skin line. After the beard is fully blending he starts to shape any of the hair hanging out and shapes the beard to protection. Lat step is the beard line up! Jay starts with the t out liner to shape up the beard. Starting off with the side and bottom of the beard. Next we move on to straight razor using the ez blade shaving gel so the blade can glide. Making sure your pulling the skin tight and angling the blade at a 30 degree angle. make sure the beard is nice and straight. Now the beard should start to really pop out. We really hope you guys enjoyed this video!

Nah don't start so low ... Keep it high and blend it out. You can always take away but once you go to far down your can't fix. Line it up first ... Than break away the side burns .. than start taking the bulk out ,if you want to go lower bald off more of the side burns best way to do it been doing it for years.once your blend is how you like go back with the razor and reline it clean

Appreciate you not using that beard ink spray stuff.....I feel barbers cheat when they do that, good job.

Thanks for watching. Its actually a t out liner. The reason its called a t out liner is because the blade is shaped like a T. Babyliss has a different name to separate there selves.

I messed up my beard and it ended up being a low fade. I shaved it off because I thought I messed up. Lol.

Thank you for making this amazing video. I just had a few questions. Is there a reason why you "free handed" the hair around his cheeks rather than throwing on a guard? Weren't you nervous that you might take too much off? I get nervous to free hand around the cheeks. Lastly, do yo recommend a straight edge razor?

It comes our best if you shaping a beard. Als ways free hand. Takes time to learn. There are videos on our channels showing how to.

@@ezbladeshavingproducts i think the zero blend was to light maybe half. Nonetheless it has style to it . I just couldn't have my beard like that. Guess depends on your skin complexity and beard

Hacked his beard off & gave my guy a gotee with extra long neck hair extended out on it ... Ugly as hell. This barber sucks. Smh.
