It does, thanks very much. Have a good trip on the road. Must be cool to do what you do. I've just discovered the North Mississippi Hill Country Blues and have got back into listening to the blues again.

Love your videos, thank you . I play blues & rock 'n roll alto & tenor saxes. I now understand a lot more about what I am trying to do. Hope you get some gigs in England soon.

A mate of mine who I haven't seen around for many years now reminds me of you Derreck, his name was Rex Hill and he is one of the best blues harmonica players I ever heard in Australia and like you he also played saxophone and was a real killer on that as well, remind you of anyone :) ?

Hi, it's because the tenor saxophone is a B flat instrument. When you play the note C on your guitar the tenor sax player would have to play the note C on his instrument. A, on the tenor is G in what is called concert pitch. I hope this answers your question.

I'm a guitar player and don't get why this sounds in G not A. Is 'concert G' something different? 'Scuse my ignorance, just wondering; googled it and couldn't see why this is, don't think my gat is outta tune either. Not asking the man going on the road for a long time necessarily, just anyone who reads this and knows...

If you have not got this question answer by now, the tenor sax is one step up from concert pitch, so i play a C on it you hear Bb and so on.. It is a transposing instruments...hope this helps..
