What is difference between UEFI and BIOS?
UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) is a newer standard that replaces the legacy BIOS. UEFI offers more features and benefits, such as faster boot times, better security, larger disk support, and graphical user interface. Legacy BIOS is the old mode that uses a 16-bit code and a limited number of options.

In order to access BIOS on a Windows PC, you must press your BIOS key set by your manufacturer which could be F10, F2, F12, F1, or DEL. If your PC goes through its power on self-test startup too quickly, you can also enter BIOS through Windows 10's advanced start menu recovery settings. But remember it will vary towards the manufacturer of your laptop or desktop. When you are unsure just Google the manufacturers website and they will tell you what usually the key combination is to get into the BIOS
    Or today UEFI.

What is difference between BIOS and CMOS?
The BIOS is a small program that controls the computer from the time it powers on until the time the operating system takes over. The BIOS is firmware, and thus cannot store variable data. CMOS is a type of memory technology, but most people use the term to refer to the chip that stores variable data for startup.

How do I start Windows 10 in Safe Mode only?
If you can't log into the desktop to start the Settings app, you can still launch Safe Mode using the Power icon on the sign-in screen. 1. On the sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard while you click the Power button and then Restart.

Hey Kev I just wanted to ask you a question, I've been trying to study for the a+ exam and watching your videos practicing the helpdesk stuff but i'm not sure if IT is the right career for me. I'm honestly not that interested in computers but I'm desperate to get out of my warehouse job. I know the helpdesk is the entry job to IT job but I hate speaking on the phone to people and I usually avoid answering calls on my own phone because of anxiety. I would appreciate what you think.

IT is big. You can look at other roles like programming, coding, cloud, security, etc. You can even work in tech sales.
