    These include:
Modelling the wooden plank doors open, adding plank and hinge details
Creating downpipes from rod and adding bracket details
    Adding a fireplace light
    Custom cut roof tiles
    Grimy curtains

Hi Liam, Excellent work mate, and the slippage with the paint brush doesn’t notice! I’m going to get some copper tape looks a good simple way of doing the lighting.
I especially liked the copper tape used for the hinge brackets, great work as usual, cheers for now mate, John

Cheers John! Yes definitely recommend the copper tape nice and easy. Planning ahead is the key with lights. Wish I’d done that on the rest of my buildings! Cheers

Good job. Glad you found the copper tape suggestion helpful 😉 It's so versatile when it comes to lighting. Planning circuit paths in copper tape can be like planning track or pcb's lol. But a little thought and it makes life so much easier no big holes through walls etc.

Yes thanks for the suggestion, so much easier! Just planning the lighting on my next building and will be using the tape again thanks

Looking great, plus couldn’t see where the grey paint slipped so you did a good job covering that too 🙂👍🏻

Loved this update Liam. Where to start? The orange LED fire flow works nicely. Loved the little copper treatment on the hinges. That’s a I’ve and beyond that! I’ve never made a soil stack. I think I need to put that right. And I’m intrigued by the promise of an upcoming “special episode”. Can’t wait. -Michael.

Cheers Michael! I haven’t quite worked out where the smoke from the fire goes yet…. The special video is making good progress

Terrific build. I am scratch building a Glasgow tenement and think we are using the same grey card (fullscap backing?).
Lots if great ideas, especially the lighting. Thanks for sharing👍

Thank Charlie, the card is mainly 1mm and 2mm greyboard. It’s a4 in size, I don’t think there is any backing on it. No problem glad to share!

great way of building this. How do you make the bricks?

    • @deansburytownmodelrailway5056
      @deansburytownmodelrailway5056  Před 2 lety

The bricks are printed onto Matt photo paper. The image is from Scalescenes.com who do a whole range of brick and other finishes. Really good product.
