- Shed to home conversion… start to finish! We purchased a repossessed 16x60 storage shed and converted it into a beautiful minimal modern 2 bedroom, 2 bath home for our daughter and her family.

Enclosing the base of the house with that cement border is kind of genius. Never seen anyone do that.

I admire your work on your home. I like the layout of the interior. The white counter tops are also very beautiful. The rest of the interior decor is not my style I couldn’t live in a white and black house. However, the differences in people’s tastes is what makes life interesting. If everyone liked the exact same things we would just be clones.

Such a beautiful build! You all did a great job with the choice of finishes! Quick question, do these sheds usually have a WRB on the outside pre-installed? I noticed the windows were put in after the fact so not sure how easy it was to integrate to the WRB if that was done.

130k… yes that included septic, plumbing and electrical.

I will have to check with my daughter. I believe the master bedroom is 14x16 … great size! Their king size bed fits perfectly as you saw in the video.

@DaMomDatCookz1 this is on our land so no not really lol houses with land must be much cheaper where you live! No possible way we could purchase something this nice with land in our area for this price!
I always wondered about reinforcing the flooring. Like how is that done?
Hummm... are you talking about the decking that was used underneath the actual flooring that we laid? If so that was done by the shed manufacture... it's just 3/4" plywood/decking. I hope that answers your question.
Very good job I do like the way you put a footer around for the skirting I have one question what's the deal with all the concrete blocks behind the skirting they do not all look like the primary blocking just curious to why there's so many there

Oh my… you definitely need to go back and watch our flipping the farm Vlog and to see the whole process lol so much to explain in short that was literally to pass code and make our county inspectors happy. Had nothing to do with structure or stability. Literally checking off a box … ridiculousness at its finest lol

Cabinets were custom built. Backsplash tile is from Lowe’s… Zellige 5x5 glazed ceramic.

Was plumbing done before or during? I’m in a rut whether I should go ahead and put my shed on my land and plumb afterwards or would that be harder
Plumbing was done during… as in once we got it on the land.
I don’t think that would be legal in Ma. Do you think it could hold up to our winter? It’s really beautiful

Where did they get the kitchen cabinets from?
They were custom built by a local.
With the cost being so much, is there a benefit to doing it this way instead of maybe getting a mobile/manufactured home and putting it in place? Just honestly curious which route is best.

Im pretty sure yall could have searched and fount something that actually included the land too for 130k.... thats crazy for a shed/tiny home.... its nice asf.... but a 3bdrm singlewide here in NC brand spanking new with 2bth os $39k atw done setup in extra but still....
