I’m supposed to be getting a ton of money when my aunt passes away and I’m going to use a lot of it to get one of these and finally move into my own home and out of my parents’ 😂 I know that sounds crazy to say about my aunt, but I’m very grateful for her and we’ve been poor our whole lives, but she wasn’t. She’s been selling land and stuff and she still has so much money that is going to people and companies when she passes away. I’ve always wanted to get one of these sheds and turn it into my tiny home.

Grats, you bought a shed. Word of advice, check your local county building ordinances BEFORE continuing the conversion. Worse case scenario, you won't be able to live in it or get power. YT Tennessee couple tried this and county told them it wouldn't meet the code for a habitable structure. And they still haven't been able to live in it. Storage only. They ended up having to buy a trailer/camper.

A good stucko skirting will last about 20 yrs, and can look like brick, cobblestone, any stone, flat, carved, just about any design you desire.

Eli that siding will last a good 25 years. They use it alot on apts but you've got yourself a holy deal good stuff.

The prices on these Amish built cabins is ridiculous. Doesn't matter where you get them from either. You are better off building one yourself and paying a carpenter to help you. I bought an 8x12 storage shed with workbench on sale for $800 dollars from Lowe's four years ago. A same size Amish shed today is over $5,000 dollars which is insane.

Open plan kitchen/living. Will look good mate
Im going to build one this size if things fall into place this year. 16x 40 seems like a good size for a comfortable cabin in my eyes. I am not looking forward to 115F weather this summer but its time to start planning. I started a 1/2 acre garden and today was it hot day so a nice cool shelter would be nice.

Did you post a video of your house finished? I would love to see the out come. My father passed away and he left me some money and some land. Looking forward to not having a mortgage and live the country life with some chickens and deer hunting. That’s a perfect barndominium.
