  • One of the things that make good recovery agents are all the tricks we learn over the years that allow us to pull off the impossible time and again. I always like to share a good trick with my closest buddies and in return they do the same for me. This is one that I came across not to long ago after repossessing a Harley that we could not get the key FOB for. I had to push the bike almost a half mile to get it out of hostile territory just to find out later I could have driven it. Lol so hopefully someone will tell me how this helped them one day.

    This code only works if: the code hasn't been reset by the owner, the ignition is unlocked or the forks are unlocked. But yes, truth of the matter is most people never change the code, and you can almost count on it being the factory default code.

Im guessing you dont realize that the 870 is express is the militarys choice of shotgun from trench warfare to door breaches to undermounted "masterkeys", the 870 is the workhorse of the US military. Mossburgs are walmart guns. But all that said, a pipe gun is a pipe gun. The 870 is no Saiga12.

    I have a HD FXDLI Low Rider 2005 fuel injected with HD:s alarm system. When I bought it on auction I only got the starting key no FOB and PIN code. When I tried to start it I realized that something was missing. A mechanic installed a new PIN code by connecting a Windows laptop to the alarm unit. The update finished successfully. When I tried to start it with the new PIN code I followed the manual to the letter but I never reached the step where I was supposed to enter the PIN code.
    The manual states " The left turn signal switch is used for code number entry and the right turn signal is used as the "enter" key.
    1 Know your 5 digit personal code
    2 Turn IGN key to ACC
    3 Hold both turn switches in until confirmation Security lamp blinks at fast rate
    4 Enter first digit of code (a) by pressing left turn switch a times
    5 Press right turn switch 1 time Serves as enter key for first digit
    Proceed with the 4 last digits in the PIN code the same way . . .
    6 Security lamp stops blinking System is disarmed. You may use the vehicle or program another key fob "
    I reached step 3 where the security lamp blinks at fast rate. When I tried to enter the PIN code with the left turn switch it didn't accept it and continued blinking at fast rate.

    OK I got a question my first time on here I don’t have my key fob to my security system and it’s a 2006 street glide and my brother gave me a turn signal module and I put it on the bike and some years went by and get some time in prison then I get out and forgot all about it and I never married the new used TSSM module to the ECM on my bike and now I don’t have a key fob and I did the ignition on off on off on off turn signal twice and then write one once and only the mileage shows it doesn’t bring up any spots to type numbers in or nothing and my question is is that because I don’t have a key fob and if I get a key fob and I have a present and I think the key fob to the ECM and module then it’ll allow me to put in a code because my code that I had years ago was with the turn signal module that is no longer on the bike

  • @DIZEMANPHOTO
    @DIZEMANPHOTO Před 2 lety +1

    What I missed was the very first thing you did in the sequence after turning on the key... do you push BOTH turn signals at the same time, if so how long do you hold them? I get the code entry part, but cannot see what the very first thing you did was. Camera was too tight on the speedo, needed to see the handlebars to see what you were doing. I have a 2002 Road King Screamin Eagle and none of these seem to work on mine. Yes! It has the key fob security system, but I can't seem to get it where it shows me the pin number.
    I live in the middle of the Mojave Desert, at the East entrance to Death Valley were temps got up to 135 this year. If I lose a fob and the bike won't start, people die. That's more of my concern than people stealing my bike. When I discovered losing a fob could cause the bike to fail to start, all I could think of is how deadly that would be in the places I ride.
