I so wish the MH2 card didn’t need to tap it would be pretty viable
Did you miss a change to night at Nate's 4th turn? He didn't cast anything and Tovolar as a Daybound card is out already, so the game is set to "Day". Nate didn't cast anything so it should have switched to night (yes, cam did cast the intuition, but day/night tracks only the active player!).
Day/Night looks like it's going to lead to memory issues.

If content this good was plentiful enough to watch new stuff all day I would never get anything done. Would really like a part 2 for this one since we only really saw 2 of the decks this game.

So another way to get around the Deflecting Swat, which was somewhat noted: If you had a way to kill off your Azra Oddsmaker before combat, then nothing could have been redirected to because of the non-legendary clause on Kiki Jiki. Might have been safer than Thoughtseize on one opponent, since the other might have interaction.
I think Tyler could Escape Village rites sacrificing azra forcing the only valid target to be Combat Celebrant
@@MrScareTacticz Not if swat is already on the stack. He couldn't have possibly predicted a redirection effect since they're pretty rare.

Cool video showcasing some of the new commanders, but I'd like to see at least one more game with them. I feel we didn't really get a chance to see what Old Stickfingers or Lier were capable of. Not sure if it factors in too much, but Dauthi Voidwalker is really busted in that he lets you sacrifice him to cast a spell for free. So Tyler didn't have to pay the 6 mana for the Time Spiral.

One wish for an another episode: Who is the best non-blue commander (-/pairing). The number of colors doesn't have to be the same for each player. (One may Play single color, another one maybe four color,...) -> My playgroup plas this sometimes, because they hate counterspells .... Can't wait until sunday for new vids.

I’m lovin Old Stick but I also like that this showcases some of his biggest weaknesses. I wonder what kind of emergency recovery plans the deck can run without giving up too much speed.

All artifacts used to loose all abilities when tapped, which is why the wording of LED makes it soo broken now. I remember stuff like, using icy manipulator to tap your winter orb so that you can untap everything when your opponent could not.
Saw the playmat on the moderately anonymous stream and asked about it and went to the store to try and find it. Was confused when it wasn't there.
This game was awesome guys. Those sorts of twists in the last bits of a game are why I play! :)

Wishclaw is not sorcery speed it’s only during your turn. So you can do it instant speed during your turn.

The use of blood moon and how it hampered two decks in this game is a prime cause for me to say competitive EDH players invest in basic lands it may be " less efficient than using all these high priced dual lands and sacrifice landsand all that but if something like blood moon comes out or some other non basic Land limiting card you have a mana base
Blood Moon requires red mana, and even though a Gruul deck won by screwing two other players with it, red is regarded as the worst color in EDH.
And as a preemptive counter argument, a handful of powerful red cards that get used on camera a lot in specifically the cEDH environment don't magically mean the color is good.
@@Magidex so are you saying Red is the worst color in non-cEDH or the worst color in both. Because your preemptive argument seems to highlight why Red is possibly one of the best cEDH colors.

Yes because kiki says non legendary creature.
@9:43 kiki jiki's activated ability only copies nonlegendary creatures if I'm correct the target you change with deflecting swat still needs to be a legal one I believe you changed the target of kiki jiki's ability to copy Florian and that's why I said Anything but if anyone see's that I'm wrong let me know

Old Stickfingers is the only one of these that should see Cedh play. Maybe the vampire. The others are casual level
So I thought layering makes everything a swamp and a mountain with tomb and blood moon, would it not work the same with gaea?
Or does the land have to be first and then bloodmoon for both?
Blood Moon or Magus of the Moon + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth results in all non-basic lands (including Urborg) being Mountains only.

Would blood moon/yavimaya not just come down to time stamps shine both change the ropes on the same layer? Meaning that yavimaya would make everything into a taiga?
Serious question though. That’s how iv been led to believe that interaction works by other cedh players, but if someone can cite a ruling for it that would be super helpful

I'm sorry I just loved the werewoilf deck! But the damage count was off too, Full Moon's Rise only buffs Werewolves. HT Master- 5 Pwr, Pack leader - 4 pwr, Wolf token 2 power Village mesenger - 2 power = 13. Awesome decks! Florian was going off!
Tovolar's trigger would've flipped the Messenger, that's where the 14th point came from.

Huntmaster would've flipped back to the day side on Dylans turn since Tyler cast both Abrade and Florian on his turn. idk but that probably would've made a difference?
Probably not, since Tovolar came down that turn and would have flipped it back over. So Dylan should've had another Wolf and dealt 2 more damage, but it didn't matter.
