There are many great things about this channel. But when Dylan and Cam have those mind-link moments like “it goes both ways!”, man do they make my day.

Honestly, the best gameplay channel now, the quality of the edits are just good enough (not to overedited) and the personalities are the best IMO. Watch this over game knights any day of the week (Usually sundays). Keep it up guys!!
Great video as usual, really liking how it seems this set is likely introducing a lot of new Commanders for cEDH who will actually remain relevant after release. Raffinne especially seems like the new go to esper list.

The return of the doom intro is hella spicy, I look forward to seeing Evelyn Vampire Bean because it’s a good world gorger dragon outlet and you can just straight up win with a Dualcaster mage and a flicker on the field exiling the opponents decks which is cool that you can do it at instant speed.
That meme is one of the great ones and def fit the situation....and Cams face is making it look perfect lol.

Rocco is definitely the most exciting commander for me out of SNC. As you mention in the post-game Cam, there's a lot of different ways you can go with it. I'm sure that the stax/hatebear route is effective but whether it is better than the turbo out route is hard to say. Pretty impressive that it can go for a consistent food chain win early off of a Moon-Blessed Cleric as well off of a 6 mana Rocco, but only if you can survive the turn rotation and it's not exactly a secret that you're going for that.
Damn dude, I remember playing modern with Cameron forever ago! This show is so damn sick, always love seeing new videos and getting new perspectives to feed my inner Spike!

Noob here...what is the difference between cedh and edh?
@@pkmplayer cEDH is competitive. Very highly tuned decks with all of the best cards or efficient consistent combos etc. Whereas EDH is more casual. Sometimes called battlecruiser magic, where you just play fun expensive bomb mythics. I'll stop there since, as I mentioned previously I've no experience in cEDH outside of just watching these guys lol.
That being said these guys sure make cEDH at least look as fun or even more fun than EDH, at least when the whole table is playing cEDH decks lol

Tyler's hatred of feeding the fish is so good
that brought up bad memories for me about my terrible experience i've had a year ago at my LGS. When i resolve fish no one pays for it and goes out of their way to not pay for it regardless if i'm still able to build my board while paying for age counters. But when someone else has fish everyone else feeds the fish and i'm punished for not feeding the fish.
That "Begin" still haunts me even after the video.
The begins are ascending. I love it. Also Rocco into the new Vivien line is a solid way to win with your commander being the game win tutor
Rocco for 6 plus a single red gets you the new Vivien line which is a 7 Mana win condition. It's not that bad with red available. You also have a breach line possible if you can find a Naya version and not brain freeze. Been tempted to build around rocco
What is the line where you can rocco x=6 with an extra red mana? Can't seem to find it, only finding Arena Rector and a sac outlet :/

Mtggoldfish has a version and the x=6 is you search for the planes Walker sneak attack card from modern horizons. It's a lot of moving parts but worst case you cast Rocco and then Vivien HIM later. Plus the other parts are all very solid cards on their own.
@@DaxVerus I get how the combo works, but having Rocco search out the pw sneak attack card means that Viv needs to be in your hand already. Doesn't really make it viable as the combo outside of modern where you can have 4 copies of both in your deck. I was wondering if there was another way other than x=4 for arena rector with a sac outlet available
Really liking Ognis with token doublers and amulet of vigor. She's not competitive but haste matters is cool. I like Giada too for angel tribal.
For cEDH, maybe the painter devil? I know Rocco can do food chain shenanies. Anyway, great video guys.

It's the first gae I see severals puns and I like it because it makes me feel better with myself when I pun i my playgroup ("CEDH PLAYERS ALSO PUN SOMETIMES AFTER ALL"). It was also refreshing to see that even in CEDH tables a person can keep a bad hand and get mana screwed. I didn't get why the guy with the opposition agent didn't sac the flying pirate to save que agent.

I like Rocco. I never thought about Godo helm at all. I was like.. the kiki-jiki combo is red and white and you have green for tooth and nail.. thats perfect. you have the lightning crafter + dock side combo for infinite mana if you get the fiend hunter flicking going. I think rocco is fantastic. having a tutor in the command zone is no joke. with cloudstone curio out, you cast rocco for X = 4 and then you fetch treasonous ogre, it enters and you bounce rocco back to hand, you then pay 18 life + white and green to recast rocco to fetch godo, which fetches the helm and you bounce your commander to hand again. and you pay 15 life to attach helm and you attack for lethal. I know this is 33 life, so it may not be doable.
option 2. you jeska's will into someone's full grip making 7 red mana on turn 1, like gem stone caverns pregame effect, then mountain, lotus pedal mana crypt and then you cast jeska's will. then you cast cloud stone curio and rocco X 1 and fetch a mana dork, bouncing rocco to hand. Turn 2: play rocco X 2 into dockside. assuming everyone went with early ramp, this nets you some treasure. turn 3: rocco into treasonous ogre and now you can just pay life to recast rocco, bouncing dockside, replaying him to net more treasure and fetching out kiki-jiki + felidar guardian or what ever for the win.
I really love this commander, the combo potential is just so good.
Yeah Rocco is great. I think he is better as a combo piece with food chain or wirewood symbiote in play as opposed to a self assembling which is often too much mana. Just having wirewood symbiote in play means you can fetch dock side, untap a dork then with the mana cast him again to fetch emiel, flicker dockside for infinite mana then flicker symbiote for infinite bounces and cast of rocco to fetch whatever your win con is or it can be wincon less and just run eternal witness and beast within loops.

The jund treasure/fling dragon seems pretty strong too, might be another cedh worthy commander. Idk if it replaces korvold, but it definitely seems strong either way.
I really like Ziatora but I don't know if he's gonna be good for cEDH because of his high casting cost plus you need bodies in the field for his ability to be relevant. Still im thinking to build him as a casual commander.
My guess is that if ziatora saw cedh play, it would be a grindy, midrange commander, rather than an explosive, build-your-own-ad-naus commander.

Yo, Falco Persist/Undying flash instant cast madness? Run all Seedborne Muse effects, and Leyline of Anticipation effects and control the game until you win and all your creatures come back with a counter.
Also, Rocco only needs seven mana for the current "i win" combo though it requires going to combat.
Is plane bound apprentice + new Vivien good in Rocco? Bc it’s 3cmc card, and so you only need vivien in hand, and 6 mana to win

I was super stoked to see Evelyn. I think running a higher density of 1-drop Vamps so her card advantage comes online faster and more often is the way to go. All of those tutors and effects that went on top of y'alls library and not met with an Evelyn trigger was sadge.

@@jamesmackes4531 idk, naya has like 7 silences and 3 good ways that make snoop uncounterable. my issue is the amount of deck slots. it's kinda a heavy package

I think Rocco would be a good food chain commander cause you only need to have 3 one drops and food chain to cast Rocco for 6 to find squee, then you have infinite mana to cast Rocco 2 more times to get kiki jiki combo

Raffine is like a better Varina and that's powerful in my book. But again all the commanders you showcase in this game seems to bring something good and spicy to the table.

i wonder how good rocco is in without having to only face other streets commander. the easy part in commander is making mana and having a commander that literally just wins the game if you have mana while ignoring counter spells as you never want to cast your threats and if rocco gets countered you can just recast him only loosing mana and not have to bother with getting back your win con or search another makes it really hard to interact. the real question is if its fast enough.

No because it goes from a concealed zone to another concealed zone. The hand never hits a public zone like the graveyard unlike other wheel effects

How does Godo untap the other Godos? They're not samurai so they shouldn't be affected by his trigger.
