    20 year guarantee but ONLY for the motor. Before the motor will have a chance break, the drum bearings in the washing machine will give out (after 3-4 years) and the cost of repair will be nearly as high as buying a new washer. Happened to me twice already. Same thing with the dryer. After 3-4 years the compressor will fail and you basically will have to buy a new dryer because the cost of the repair is ridicoulously high. So the 20 year motor guarantee is just pointless in my opinion.

    I used to be a Samsung loyal customer, all my electronics were Samsung (TVs, Phones, earbuds, soundbars, wireless chargers, etc). Until I bought my first Samsung appliance on Aug 2nd. This is the worst appliance purchase experience I ever had.
    I have chatted and called multiple times, spent hours on this issue already but unfortunately, this is how it seems it must be to get any decent and effective attention from Samsung.
    Purchase date: Aug 2nd
    Issue 1: Many inconsistencies on the delivery date between information on the website, email, and phone support.
    Issue 2: Chat order support does not know anything about appliance orders. I had to call several times to make sure I had the correct delivery date for my appliances.

    Partial delivery: Aug 20th
    Issue 3: Missing steam hose for Dryer, Dryer not installed due to missing hose.
    Issue 4: I tried the chat, chat person could not support appliances, I sent “Contact Us” messages, was never answered, chatted again and was directed to another chat link that was not working, called, the person on the phone was completely incapable, he did not know what a Steam Hose was, I got a call back to confirm I was missing a “Pin” and the person asked for the part number as if I should know part numbers.

    After multiple calls, requests to escalate and prioritize that were ignored according to XPO who did not receive a priority order on my service, and hours of work lost talking to Samsung I finally was able to schedule delivery of the missing part.
    Missing part delivery: Sep12th.
    Issue 5: XPO person was not attentive, did not hear feedback about how he was throwing tools on top of my expensive machine or twisting and squeezing the hose and vent tube, which is a fire hazard by the way.
    Issue 6: I asked him to turn the machine on to check his installation. The machine made a HUGE noise as if it would explode. He left without fixing it, said it was a VERY COMMON ISSUE with Samsung and that I needed to call again.

    More calls:
    1st Call on Sep 12th - 15 min - Joshua - ID # for call - 9253856 - 15 min between a bot and a “Support” agent just so he could tell me he does not work with appliances, wanted to give me a new number, I asked to be transferred and after a few minutes Samsung hung up on me.
    2nd Call on Sep 12th - 15 min - to the phone Joshua provided via email after the Samsung system hung up on me. Not able to reach anyone ever. Can barely hear bot, start some chat about insurance claim, wells fargo, etc. Probably related to Samsung exposing my personal information to cyber-risk (attached notification). Start to hear weird bots questions about someone in my house being 15 years old or not.
    Twitter: Just sent a reference number and said they sent to escalation team, I heard that twice on the phone over last month. Do not believe it, was never contacted by any escalation team.
    I want a full refund, pick up of this washer and dryer immediately, I do not want this in my house anymore! I need space for a set that has both working machines without any safety risk for me and my family and I need the space now.
    I lost so much work and mental health calling Samsung on commercial hours that I can probably request legal compensation if I get fired for being on the phone with you all the time! I have all registered on my phone and email.
    Never went from love to hate for a brand. Samsung is a first!
