    =============================
    Table of Contents:
    =============================
    Questions and answers concerning Romans
    I. Predestination
    1. How does God’s foreordained choosing of us bear on the way we are to pray for
    the unsaved?
    2. Of what use is praying for salvation for those who cannot or will not come?
    3. Is it a correct biblical conclusion, then, to say that we are predestined to choose-
that predestination is God’s gift-if free will does coexist?
    4. Does God arrange circumstances so that we are pressured into accepting His will?
    5. Considering God’s sovereignty, of what use is free will to us?
    6. Scripture tells us that God wants all to be saved. Ephesians 4 talks about us being
chosen in Him before the creation of the world. When you talked about God
choosing, do you believe that He chooses who will follow Him?
II. Christian Protests, Especially Abortion Issue
    1. In submitting to government, should anti-abortionists physically prevent women
    from having abortions?
    2. Jesus told us to occupy until His return. I understand the word “occupy” in this
sense: as a military connotation. How far am I justified to go as a Christian in
fighting such things as abortion, lies in the media, disinformation, infringement of
my first amendment rights as a Christian, pornography, and so on?
    3. Do you believe Christian protests are truly accomplishing what God desires in
situations like anti-abortion picketing, or wouldn’t more be done through prayer
    and fasting?
    III. Concerning Israel
    1. How are the Church and Israel related? Does Galatians 3:29 not mean that
    believers are Abraham’s seed-adopted Jews?
    2. What is or will be the role of Israel in the final evangelization of the world? Is
world evangelization the exclusive duty of the Church or is there an aspect that
the Church will not fulfill that is reserved for the Israel that recognizes her
    Messiah?
    3. When an Israelite gets saved, has a born-again experience and is baptized in the
Holy Spirit, is he then considered to be part of Israel or the Church?
    4. What do Gentiles do with Jews who believe in Jesus?
    5. When you spoke of the descendants of Isaac and Ishmael, will any of the seed of
Ishmael be included as the Israel of God? And are they considered true Jews?
    IV. Miscellaneous
    1. Does the local church have the right to establish rules for membership, such as
    refraining from alcohol, etc.?
    2. Since God’s law is love, please explain Luke 14:26: “If any man come to me, and
hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters,
yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”
    3. It sounds like, in chapter 15 of Romans, we’re almost into an area that could be
compared to situation ethics; that is, we are asked to behave according to what we
believe may be the consequences of our behavior. God, on the other hand, really
wants us to be principle-based in our behavior; that is, not consider the need or
consequence, but rather the scriptural principle and then act on it.
    4. What did God love in Jacob and what did He hate in Esau?
    5. Will the Church also be a remnant?

Yes he had the gift of teaching as part of the 5 fold ministry to edify the church and he is very good at using his Holy Spirit gift. We need to seek the Baptisms of the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. Apart from the fruits of the Holy Spirit to believers, there are 5 fold ministries where God committed to the Church's growth. That is through calling not by choices. Prophets, Evangelists, Apostles and Teachers. However, the devil kept attacking these since the beginning of the Church and so we have to have the Holy Spirit the greatest Teacher of His own word as stated by Liss in response to this comment. Gifts and calling is without repentant and people are misusing these due to lack of proper teachings or inadequate knowledge. Shalom!

His comments shows us that the problems we are facing today (e.g. disinformation) have been going on for a long time but most people then were blind to it. With social media and the ease for anyone to communicate to the masses, it’s in the spotlight now.

Derek Prince's teachings & sermons are more true today than when he spoke them. My husband and I had been praying for a pastor who spoke of deliverance & end times prophecy as almost no pastors do these days. God led me to Derek Prince while browsing CZcams for sermons that preached the truth-we prayed on it the night before. He truly was one of God's elect & I have no doubt that he's in Heaven right now.

I met Derek Prince personally in 1979 in Ft. Lauderdale Florida in an unforgettable teaching on Devine Healing. My friend was totally healed of carpal tunnel syndrome. At first I thought he was a bit too stiff for my ignorance of true spirituality. But over the years of reading his books and listening to his teachings, I have found it hard to listen to anyone else. He is prophetic without calling himself a prophet. He is a Christian to the core. I can't say the same for most of what the Body of Christ is exposed to today. But God will judge His Church first before Jesus returns. In the mean time I thank God Derek's teaching is still available.

One pastor in our denomination insisted that every "rule" passed by council be inserted into a "rule book". He did it to show them how rules grow over time. How often do we review "old rules" to see if they are still applicable.
Better to decide if the rule is "biblical" or "personal preference". Many of the rules in any church are unwritten. It is called the culture.

Ruth Prince wears the 'gesture' of a veil/scarf/shawl when she is in public assembly. It is written.. 'the woman who prays or prophesies with her head covered PREVENTS DISGRACE from coming upon the men around her. BUT in reference to his discussion on the four rules expressed about gentiles the law of Moses at around minute 40ish… I have to ask this question When Jesus returns and sets up His millennial Kingdom, what do you suppose the basis will be for the “rules of The Kingdom “ ??? I submit that it will be what he stated in Matthew 5:17- He did not come to abolish the Torah (5 Books of Moses) but to Fulfill it!!!

How about that? This man had a great answer to why Jesus did not preach long, protracted rules against the various different social problems such as slavery or women's rights, etc. He said Jesus always dealt with the root of the problem, which is the human heart. He said it does not matter how many laws you make because the problem is with the human heart. Jesus was teaching how we need to change individually and collectively to be more Christ-like & more like our Heavenly Father. We can see in the Word of God that Jesus does address these problems but they are not the main, front-and-center issue. These social issues are offshoots from the main concern which is the wickedness or the holiness of the human heart.

The Lord once gave me a picture of Him standing in the center of a large wheel with many spokes. The wheel that He can see is the finite history of mankind, past, present and future. He knows the choices that we will make without forcing us to follow a script. We are not predestined, but the best way to explain it might be that our destiny is "pre known."
Additionally He can simultaneously see everything as stated above, but He can step into finite time and express emotion. Sound complicated? Yes, but HE is complicated.

I absolutely love Derek Prince, and ever since I found out what a great teacher he is, I have been watching, listening, and learning faithfully. However, I find one thing I disagree with him about: It's not possible that there are only FOUR things in the "law of Moses" (which is actually the law of God given through Moses) that a Christian is to keep. Just the fact of the Ten Commandments alone disputes that. Could anyone really be suggesting that what's contained therein is not an obligation for Christians to keep? The apostles didn't mention "adultery" or "murder" - surely no one could be suggesting their omission was a tacit denial. How can anyone disregard the sentence that comes after the apostles list of four given to gentile believers: "For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.”
The controversy was over whether gentile believers had to become Jewish converts to be part of the Body of the Messiah. The answer among the apostles was unanimously "no" because of how gentiles had become washed by the Holy Spirit, of which there was abundant evidence. And it was decided that it would be a burden and a discouragement to them to lay upon them the whole law. So four things were selected which were really baseline, minimal, and non-negotiable, since it was expected that they would hear the entire law in the synagogues on the Sabbath.
Though Derek Prince is not deviating from the common understanding of the case - it is no less an error to imagine that there are literally "only four parts to the law" that the Christian must ever concern him or herself with. And the full reading of Acts 15 makes that clear. But even just the last paragraph in question makes that very clear: “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.” Acts 15:19-21 In the phrase, "For the law" - the word "FOR" means, "BECAUSE" -- as in, 'we can give them these four now BECAUSE --- they will get the rest in time.' Those four things are literally starters; their education was never meant to end there! And Paul also makes it clear that " All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (Again, ALL SCRIPTURE does what? Corrects, trains, rebukes, teaches.) 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Can there really be any doubt as to the apostles' original intentions? And yet it is one of the great misunderstandings of the current age...and that misunderstanding has actually created a harvest of lawlessness. It makes perfect sense of what Jesus said about His coming judgement: "“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23

The ten commandments were part of the Law of Moses. We are not under the Law and all those under the Law remain under a curse for the Law says cursed are all those who do not keep the entire Law. Those who are blessed and then given the Grace of the Holy Spirit are no longer under the Law but become a law unto themselves. And the entire law is done through Love for if you love your brother you will not lie to him or steal from him or covet what he has. We are not conformed to ourselves neither do we shine our own righteousness but the righteousness of Jesus Messiah through the Holy Spirit shines forth from us. So if you try to keep the law by your own power you will only fail and fall under a curse. For grace can neither be earned or worked for at all. We are no longer under the Law who are in Christ Jesus but FREE. So Brother Derek was absolutely correct. Those in Christ will be transformed unto the renewing of their minds and they will OVERCOME. Those in Christ will be conformed to the image of Christ Jesus. As a bride to her Husband you see? But further than mortal marriages can become. Read Romans on sin and how sin working in our members through the Law sought to become exceedingly sinful. You see before Jesus we begin under the Law many times. But we always find that the more we try to be good the worse we are! That is because with the Law comes a curse. Anyone who tries to work for or earn Grace is immediately under the law. Because Grace cannot be earned or worked for at all it is a free Gift. No one can boast in Christ because it is not our righteousness being revealed but HIS. Beware the law. May God bless you exceedingly abundantly beyond all you see or imagine! Amen. We are not justified (just as if I had not sinned, made righteous) by the law but by Grace. So the just shall live by FAITH.
