It was late August of 2022 when a milestone in the story of my life took place; I had been waiting for this moment for almost 50 years, I drove from my hometown in the San Francisco Bay Area, to Oakland in disbelief. Two months earlier I had bought the ticket to get a privileged seat, and catch the perfect angle to see in person The Stylistics, one of the best vocal ensembles of all times on planet Earth, to sing for me an amazing repertoire of songs that have been part of the soundtrack of my life.
Specially I was about to sing along with my idols their masterpiece: YOU MAKE ME FEEL BRAND NEW, my favorite of all times, the hymn I used to sing in her ears to my cute girl in the mid seventies, and guess what? I got it, there they were...! And not just that, I also shook hands with three of them: Bo, Jason and Herb, I only missed Airrion who was shaking hands in the other extreme!
And here I am sharing with the world one of my dreams come true. Sorry about the annoyance of the "singing" along, but you ought to understand a dreamer making a dream come true....☼

Fue a finales de agosto de 2022, que tuvo lugar un hito en la historia de mi vida. Durante casi 50 años esperé este momento, conduje desde mi ciudad de residencia en el Área de la Bahía de San Francisco, hasta Oakland con incredulidad. Dos meses antes había comprado la entrada para conseguir un asiento privilegiado, el ángulo perfecto para ver en persona a The Stylistics, uno de los mejores conjuntos vocales de todos los tiempos en el planeta Tierra, cantando para mí un fabuloso repertorio de canciones que han formado parte de la banda sonora de mi vida.
Especialmente estaba a punto de "cantar" con mis ídolos su obra maestra: TÚ ME HACES SENTIR NUEVO, mi favorita de todos los tiempos, el himno que le cantaba al oído a mi linda chica a mediados de los setenta, y saben qué? ¡lo logré! Y no solo eso, también estreché las manos de tres de ellos!
Y aquí estoy yo compartiendo con el mundo uno de mis sueños hecho realidad. Perdón por la molestia de "cantar" con ellos, pero Uds. entenderán a un soñador haciendo realidad un sueño...☼
