It’s one of those teams that any Suns fan would kill to watch play again..
That 21 team was special, but they couldn't do it with ayton he's not championship material. Instead they paired Booker with a GOAT. Suns fans are blessed we get to see 2 incredible *different teams with our day 1 star
And especially Kevin Durant because that’s what he thought he was signing up for when he hopped on their bandwagon

Worst thing this team did was trade their future (aka bridges and johnson) and their bench for a star player that has failed in 2 of the 3 super teams he's been on

That loss to Dallas was the killer. The 2022 Suns were an unstoppable 4th quarter team, and clinched the 1 seed before anyone else had clinched the Playoffs. The mystique wore off when we saw them down at least 40 the entire second half of a game 7 at home.

It's one of those things where the team that they had was perfect and they didn't need to change anything. But they kept trying to fix what was the furthest thing from broken and they got cocky at the worst time.

As a suns fan I’m not sure if many other teams and seasons in phoenix going forward can match the magic and love I felt for that particular finals squad. Choking in the finals hurt so incredibly bad! We were truly a Cinderella story. 🥺

as a suns fan, i liked them because they were homegrown, drafted there, now it is just booker and paid for player hired guns......making changes when a player ages out, sure(paul), but tossing 4 firsts and the twins for KD brought the rebuild closer by years, w.o draft pics.....woohoo

not a suns fan but booker is one of my favorite players and i'm still genuinely grumpy that they traded away ayton, bridges and cam johnson, and now, other than grayson allen and nurkic, they're more top-heavy and relatively lacking in depth compared to the younger team from 2019-2023

One thing that doesn't get talked about is this team got lucky a lot during that run in 2021, when AD was healthy in their match up the Lakers were the better team, when AD went down Lakers looked like a different team. The nuggets didn't have Murray and looked burned out by their match up, the clippers team didn't have kawhi. That shorten season turn out benefited out of their playoffs opponents because those teams had less rest. The only time they played a healthy team they lost hence the buck lead by Giannis. Then in 2022 they crown themselves and acted like they were the champions when they choked out, and ran their mouth and rubbed everyone the wrong way so everyone brought it, pelicans took them to their limit, booker played too much with Luka and motivated Luka to assassinate, hence motivating the mavs to destroy them in their own house in game 7.
