Good video, I like the order you progress your base in. I make a few modifications that I use in all my bases, but I used this video to explain to some friends how to build a 2x2. Well done

There are numerous things that can be corrected in this base so the raid cost is higher, along with the roof needing slight adjustments apart from that the base looks really well done! slight adjustments can be having a wall of the 2nd floor instead of 4 wall frames and garage doors, which can be easily splashed and also having the jump down to core on the opposite side from the jump up. This design is somewhat similar to "the red room" 2x2. Still a great build!!

@@inHell-rb if u are maybe more expirienced... is the red room actually as good as it seems?... bc i am really new to rust but everytime i looked at the red room it seemed like literally the perfect base and i couldnt find a base yet that would fit that people amount better :D

Great design, I've used it for a couple wipes now and it has saved me from a lot of online and offline raids. The only thing missing that I would love to see is place for a battery and turrets, but other than that it's a very good base design!
put battery in the third floor in one of the empy triangles, and turrets on the roof, either 2 on each side on top of the entrances to the roof surrounded with chainlink fences, you can also add to more on the ground of the roof surrounded by chainlink aswell. You can also add turrets in the compound either next to the base where you just add a triangle on to the bases foundation or next to the gate entrances where you just add another triangle aswell

would it be bad to skip 3rd floor and make the shooting floor on 3rd instead? i found that the base was too expensive and did not need that much space for my team of 3

Nice base, but i wonder how you would plase the third metal sheet wall around the base and the sniper nest without flying? i tried to do it in creative it is near impossible ind the order you show to upgrade the higest part of the wall and deleteing the luver floor of the sniper nest without flying.

bro you can legit build up and use floors to get close to the parts you want to upgrade then you just delete the twig floors you placed to get up

I tried building my base bigger & bigger but it got to the point where I could only put like 24 hours worth of upkeep in my tc. I don't understand how people can have huge bases like this. U have to fill up the tc every single day or the whole base will decay?

Overall nice, but as a New player it's way too fast and too much happening. Yea you could slow it down but it being a little slower could help in my opinion

What is the total build cost?
I just build this base on a server and got raided. In order to rebuild I destroyed all tcs and put first the tc in the middle how can I reput the outer TCs ?

Weird. If you destroyed all the externals and replaced the main one inside the base, there shouldn’t be any issues replacing the externals. Make sure your foundations aren’t connected to the main base. It is kind of tricky to place them inside the triangle, but I have never ran into that issue. Make sure they are all destroyed?
@@Greaso I destroyed them all. And put the main TC down first again. I have tried it 3 times now. I am not sure if my gatehouses are exactly like the ones in the video. That might be the problem which is difficult to solve for me. Ill try it again on builders sanctuary just to figure it out. Thx a lot for the fast answer.
@@GangstaGijon no problem man. And ya, it could be the gate houses. Not sure. Depends how far out those foundations go and if they are attached to the main foundation or external foundation. If it’s the main foundation they are attached to you won’t be able to place externals again because the priv will reach too far.

Skill Issue
12 c4 raid, its weak, cause they can drill from wall and just straight to core, but if its hqm, drill from door(shell), then the door at honey comb, after that drill wall. worst case scenario, theres another wall with hqm, but its manageable since door is weaker than hqm wall. 16. and if its metal, who the hell would want to farm more than 35 nodes a day?(i mean i would, cause im a farmer)

Nice base, but there is so much space for improvement, base is too empty for it's cost, it can be made smaller keeping the same raid cost very easily, adding wide gaps would make better peekdowns to outside and lessening cost of the upkeep. Anyways great idea man, i hope you can improve

28k for main TC, 2k for the 4 external TC's. Roughly 30k upkeep
I have the shell and the look down part done of this base and the upkeep already is 13k stone and 1k metal fr has its expensive ngl

I used it before and it’s okay on most servers. It’s best to go ahead and focus on getting the shooting floor down to catch any campers. And the upkeep is quite hefty.

@@Greaso Hey Greaso, when you say TC griefed what do you mean? I'm not sure if that's happened to me yet, but I don't think it has. Do you just mean someone taking over my own base? Also, what purpose do external TCs serve for this base? Are they just separate bases that allow for more defendability?
@@therealfito537 external tcs make it harder for people to build into your compound. But also, if someone were to raid you and break your main TC inside base, the externals would take over building priv and they won’t be able to grief your base (pick up your workbench, seal your base, etc.)

That’s the whole point…the footprint is a 2x2 and easily expandable.
