- Can 12 players with OVER 40,000 hours in Rust defeat this 4 man with less than 15,000? Let's find out. I'm giving the defenders 2 HOURS to build and more or less UNLIMITED materials, and they do NOT disappoint. This is the Best Rust Base I've EVER SEEN! Happy new year :)
What is Rust? Rust is an INTENSE PVP multiplayer survival game that I've played for THOUSANDS of hours. I've gone on MASSIVE Solo adventures, clan wipes, HUGE raids and just about every experience under the Sun. It's a game that can have the most intense nail biting moments, or you can spend hours doing nothing interesting, The way the cookie crumbles can never be predicted and of course I save the absolute best bits for you guys. max is somehow always biased towards the raiders, nothing unusual that he lets them, just from the vid with the "unlimited" shotguns proved it enough

Builders with unlimited time but limited resources would be interesting to see. The biggest flaws always seem to come from them running out of time. Obviously, you'd have to make sure you have a focused team of builders who actually want to get it done instead of just fucking around.

The problem with that is he usually gets a raid team earlier and they are ready for a specific time and it’s kinda hard to make sure someone doesn’t dick around for and extra 45 minutes

Yo, adding a timer so we can see how much time is left at any moment would be huge!
was about to say that however it would add more tediousness when it comes to editing and keeping the time cohesive
they blamed the the kids but the kids were the ones with good ideas and then got told to shut up when they tried telling them lol
My biggest issue is they never have time to finish electrical, it should be a build phase then a second phase to do doors, electricals ect.

The rule should be: Whatever extra time you need finishing the base is that much extra time the raiders get to raid it. You need an extra 20 minutes? That’s fine, but they‘ll get that time, too. Then let them decide if they want the extra time. At the very least, half of the extra time spent.
would be great to see actual good raiders vs actual good defenders

Great concept and really enjoyable video! Would be nice to have a visual comms display on either side of the screen, from both teams, to see who was talking.
Agism aside (and yes, sometimes that is an issue, but I've played with some great Rust players who are younger), the attackers were massively lacking in co-ordination. I guess that's what happens when you raffle off the spots!

It would be a very nice addition to the videos to have a timer going both during the building phase and the attacking phase to get a better picture of how they are doing.

I would to love see some "youtuber" series where absolute gods like aloneintokyo, luckyllama etc (who are building and online defending their base against 30+ clans and actually win) try to compete against your team of XXX hour players or just random subscribers in same fashion as this video.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Rust channels.
I want to recommend an idea to the video that you find three different hour players and make them watch videos of a three players that have completely different hours and make them do aim challenge building challenge and pvp challenge. And they need to guess which players has how much hours

It would be interesting if you made a dynamic raid. Had three different groups fight at three different bases, and most importantly in an order. The winner of the first fight, impacts the second fight, whether with a downgrade in weaponry or an increase in defensive players.
Multiple fights would also make it seem more easy to have random people form a team, gives more purpose to it.
Either way, you've definitely hit the mark, bravo on your hard work keep it up man!

Is there a reason neither side gets incen rockets?
If a team has 300 rockets they're going to have incens to help stop sealing and repairing. Especially for a roof like that, they'd keep it covered in fire constantly.
The same with the defenders, a base that big and they'd have incens for defense to plug up compound holes to help buy time to seal.

The younger guy should've been leading the raid. Regardless of how many rockets it would've actually taken. He was calm, positive, and gave solid direction (although mostly ignored for some reason).
more rust players need to realize that they aren't that good and should be open to others. They ignored the smartest one just because he was younger and didn't give him a chance.
@monkemonke3590 yea they even said not invite a kid next time.... like their idea of hitting one rocket on Center of building every 10 seconds since they were shooting from so far was a better idea
I don't know what was worse, the raiders being so scared with numbers or the lecture maxtwo gave at the end.

What I think would be a good idea with some 12 people is have 2 platoons of 6 people with maybe a select 2 or so guys exchanging info between them that way communication might be a little easier, also basically making it 1 team vs 2 teams

Just a suggestion, make a criteria for choosing raider and defender that way you could control the quality of the raider and defender, so the rage quit thing won't be a problem. Also good video it's a refreshing type of content.

I'm one of those people who watches hundreds of hours of Rust to the point I know what's going on pretty well, but does not actually own Rust. This is so fresh and new! These videos are fantastic, much as I love the typical blend of Ser Winter, Enardo, Oblivion, Wiljum, and Frost, this is really something else.
Something I think might help in future build videos is maybe have different time limits for different aspects of base building. Basically let them build the structure on a timer, and do things like turrets, electricity, and quality of life placements on a separate timer. That or explicitly let them finish the electrical hookups afterward because I feel like it takes up a lot of time setting up power, especially in a tight timetable and/or with weird base builds with an unfamiliar team. It would make for better content while still constraining them to have to get it built in a time limit. It would make for a more entertaining challenge for the raiders too, because you know they're signing up because they want to take on a completely different challenging raid.
