Jisoo has this unique voice that you can spot right away, it's soothing, doesn't really stand out like right in your face because of the poppy songs they usually sing but gets better and better the more you hear it. AND TH WAY SHE SMILES!

I honestly believe jisoo would flourish as a soloist,where she would be able to sing songs and to genres that suits her voice , her voice has so much potential, I mean the ability is there 😭😭. I listen to her cover of yuki no hana on a daily and it's so underrated.

Just in case if anyone does not know, jisoo is a self taught singer.. Yg did not give herptoper training for her vocals.. She came for acting but ended up being an artist
Jisoo said she got vocal lessons from 4 different vocal teachers in Light Up The Sky. It's just that she just began taking interest in singing during her trainee years unlike Rosé who already sings all through out her childhood.

Jisoo is one of my favorite voices in kpop. If she was in any other company, she would probably be represented so much better. You’re right, it’s really such a shame and it’s YG’s fault. I love Blackpink’s style and their songs, but again they don’t showcase her vocals. Also, i feel like she shines so much more in the japanese tracks and special stages

Stay, Hope Not & You Never Know are the Holy Trinity of Blackpink's ballads (so far )that will just tug your heart, effortlessly. Her Yuki No Hana Japanese cover ain't slouch no either. Imagine doing a Japanese cover in front of a Japanese audience, when it's not her 1st language & just slaying it. Kim Jisoo is just incredible.

Jisoo was the only lead vocalist but then yg made Jennie one too. Now most of jisoo's vocal lines are given to Jennie. Jisoo is a waaaay better vocal than Jennie. I'm just stating not hating. Jennie tends to scream in her songs a bit and she tends to go off key(maybe it's only a feeling especially in the chanel thing).
Jisoo is perfectly on key and stable and sounds divine. Is yg deaf. Jennie has more swag but jisoo is obviously the better vocalist.

I truly believe that we’ll never get to hear Jisoo’s true potential as a vocalist whilst she’s in blackpink, she’s either not given enough lines or not given -the- lines that showcase her vocals. As a jisoo bias I’ve come to accept it, which is quite sad honestly.

In the album: she got a small rap in pretty savage (hence, making her the sub rapper), she started and ended you never know, when they do ice cream live without Selena Jisoo will get more lines, she got to prove her vocal capacity in love to hate me, crazy over you and she co wrote love sick girls . Jisoo had an amazing year w all that I listed above and her dancing skills killing haters after hylt , not to forget her endorsements w Dior!! Please listen to the album!! @@zaaraali4615 I have listened the album haha I'm a die hard jisoo fan. This album did showcase her vocals much more than their old stuff, but there's still so much more she can do. Jisoo solo is also looking less and less likely as we've been waiting for rose's for 2 years already. She also constantly gets least lines in most of their comebacks which is what the general public see, although LSG was the best for jisoo in terms of showing off her vocals. So although its getting better, it's still not great!
My personal opinion is that Jisoo’s voice translate into the live performances enter than the other members. They all sound great live but Jisoo’s voice actually sound the SAME or better live than on the recorded versions of their songs. 🔥
When you see comments and they are asking for other members' react video, come on let's respect and appreciate the pure talented vocals of Jisoo. Btw he already did it for the other members, just check his channel
