Very informative as always 🎉 I use Forms also for registration to internal events, combined with MS Lists and Power Automate (automatic confirmation, having the list as a source for certificates etc.)
I don't use Forms that often but these are great tips, thanks Leila!

Survey!
I have been using Forms for a year and it has been very useful! Only thing I wish it had was a limit on the number of responses per survey, like Google Forms. It would have then been a perfect application for rolling out course enrollment (limiting the responses to the class size).

MS Forms is a workaround for Lists which can't calculate a Lookup column.

Thank you Leila for another powerful video. I can see the power of AI into this product of Microsoft. I see a lot of changes compared to the form I have been used to. Many might agree with me that Google Form has always dominated this field but now Google must react quickly before it is too late.

Great vid, thank you. We are already using forms in our company and last week I got the question, where the collected data is stored. Obviously not in SharePoint or OneDrive. Somewhere else in pur M365-Tenant?

Thanks for the video. I like microsoft forms because the layout is beautiful, but I don’t use it because its major drawback is the inability to install add-on such as import quiz from other platform (i.e word, excelc etc), and other useful capabilities that ms forms lacks that could be overcome with addons.
Thank you for covering this. Do you know if it is possible to create a survey using a shared mailbox? This way answers wouldn't be tied to a personal account.

A great video,... again! Although I am a fun of Forms, it sometimes does not perform as supposed to. We recently had a live conference at the company and at the end of it we would like the participants to vote end express their opinion on that did they think about the symposium. Target was to share and present the data live so a PowerPoint was created that was drawing the data from the Excel file of the Forms. That DID NOT work and it was a big disappointment for everybody. The embedded charts were not updated and it seems that it is a known issue for Forms. Oh well, maybe MS will work on the subject and get to the same level as other solutions are already!
Is there any way to assign negative points to answers? It would greatly help with building out a scorecard.
Any suggestions for a registration form that needs conditions? I’ve looked at jot form, but not sure if Microsoft has something similar. Thanks
OMG, was just looking at this today, and put it aside to look at later…..I think later has just arrived……my colleague and I were looking at trying to create a survey….question….can I do this in the Teams App, instead of logging in via the internet?

I hope MS can come up with something similar to mentimeter that can be integrated with ppt. Or is there an add in already?

Can you create a quiz for an excel problem? Perhaps have an attachment that the candidate needs to download, edit, and upload with his answer. Can that be done in forms?
Microsoft seems to try to catch up with google forms.
Is is possible to have questions present answers dynamically? I used this with google form (and some custom javascript functions) to have a set of choices come from previous form entries.
This is quite powerful to have your form questionnaire adapt dynamically as answers start flowing in.
Unfortunately, file upload doesnot allow collect data outside organisation :(

Can you use Forms to create a data entry template. Something that could be filled out daily to record, for example, information about the weather. And then be able to aggregate all those daily entries in a single table.

When I access Forms in the web based version of Office, there are no templates shown. In what manner are you accessing Forms to see templates?

Actually, my plans are to use it for a different purpose than any of the three you mentioned. I am working in a support team, and we have three different ticket systems, from which we need to collect data regarding things like, what was the origin of the ticket, which part of the world, which zip code, what topic, who handled the ticket, how long did it take to solve, was it easy, moderately difficult, or very difficult to solve, what is the short and clear statement of the problem, what was the solution, etc. Then we want to collect this data to use as indexed data for presenting to the software developers, business associates, etc., and for use by chatbots, and other uses. What would be a good way to set this up?

Today is the 24th day since I started using PowerApps. I am learning and creating an app through which a team reports the number of items they sell daily. Each team member's monthly sales target is benchmarked at 45. I am currently stuck since my 19th day trying to figure out how to calculate each team member's 'rank' in their performance reports screen. I would easily use the RANK.EQ function in Excel but I don't know how to go about it in PowerApps. Please help me out ma.

It seems like the type of questions (text, drop down, etc) doesn't seem as robust as a paid forms program like JotForm. Am I missing some functionality?
You can set form answers to text, date pickers, number only, radio buttons, checkboxes, and required fields. Not sure if drop downs are needed if you have radio buttons.
