    If you keep a water hose to spray off the petunias, it blasts off the pests and works better than spraying it with neem or other stuff. This will help you keep beautiful petunias year round, but I understand not everyone has space or access to a watering hose. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

    I was going to buy one but the shipping costs more than the plant itself.
    Edit- Correction, almost as expensive. $29 per plant, $23 shipping.

    The plant is sending out/off positive energy, vibes, frequency. Maybe light-plant brings healing to the individual in some way. We all need light đŸ•Żïž. Light is life. 🙂 Our bodies emit light aka bioluminescence.

    What are the light requirements for this plant outside? Can it grow inside?

    PS or it might be great marketing why the person is holding the plant like that 😂

    Queria comprar essa planta, mas moro no brasil, estou na torcida para isso se desenvolver e fazer com outras outras plantas também, imagina uma årvore com esse brilho, seria muito legal de ver

    I have to say that is very cool, reminds be of a movie I saw, Avatar . The problem is, these kinds of things, whether animals, plants, or microbes, ALWAYS somehow escapes to the wild.

    That’s awesome but why a petunia? Those would make terrible houseplants. đŸ˜đŸ€Ł

    • @therevolvingmonk
      @therevolvingmonk Pƙed 5 měsĂci +2

      They do make terrible houseplants and they shouldn't be marketed as such. Petunias are infinitely better outdoors where they can get a ton of light and warmth.

      @@Mavrik9000 She said they're ornamental which is more about how a plant is used in relation to the physical space it occupies than whether it's indoors or outdoors. Glow-in-the-dark petunias are a cool idea but they're just too expensive($53 shipped for one plant) unless you live in a hardiness zone where they can be perennials or you have access to a greenhouse.

      @@therevolvingmonk It is non-native but non-invasive. So the concern is avoiding biological impact on the natural ecosystem.
      The indoor vs. outdoor issue, aesthetics, and cost are not factors in the assessment or approval process.

    I can't BELIEVE anyone would want to buy this plant. Does anyone ever think what the impact might be to our natural environment? No, they just think it's cool. No wonder this planet is in so much trouble.
