Watch out for raw milk!
Without undergoing pasteurization milk can become contaminated with harmful microbes, such as Salmonella, Listeria and E. coli. Due to a recent outbreak of bird flu in the U.S., the FDA and CDC currently recommend that people should not consume raw milk or raw milk products.

It’s a double cicada brood year! Brood XIX and Brood XIII, the 13 and 17 year periodical cicadas, are emerging at the same time. But how do these cicadas keep track of time? Corporate shill authoritarian science. Shielding ourselves from all exposure to microbes doesn't keep us safe. It decreases our immune systems destroys our gut health, and gives us allergies. If the US milk industry can't keep bird flu out of its milk, thats a problem in the industry, not the necessity for criminalizing not pasteurized milk and using the FDA swat team to go after farmers and natural grocers, not just as an attempt to ensure safe milk, but as a larger war against small farmers, to consolidate power to corporate farms, and more importantly, the government. Thgey want control of our food supply . its absurd, and you saying this without giving any of the larger sociopolitical context is immoral. This is just fear based propaganda piece. You should be ashamed. Like the whole reason bird fluis tearing through these farms, is because they are giant corporate farms with way too many animals in way too close of proximity with way too little care put towards the cleanliness or health of the animals. The corporations are literally causing this problem, and you're using the problem to scare people into supporting said corporations war against their mom and pop competition. This is why people are losing trust for science. "trust the science' but its all corporate shill bullshit that isn't designed to keep anyone safe or healthy, just keep us scared and in line and give the corporations the power to do whatever they like. For all the talk the left gives about 'fascism'; they sure do love to empower actual fascism, which is the rise of corporatism and its control over science, government, and society. Bird flu wasn't a thing before there was a commercial large scall industrial livestock industry.

Thank you for this summary, I would just like to add: Bovine H5N1 antibodies might even be recognized as an antigen by our humoral immune system (the part where our cells make antibodies to tag foreign particles). Besides that, stomach acid creates an environment for protein breakdown with both the acidity and protease enzymes. The viral particles themselves can survive in your mouth, attempt to replicate in cell lining there or in the throat, and (boom) infection.

The bacterial cultures that ferment milk into these types of cheeses *might* create a sufficiently hostile environment to other bacteria and viral particles due to changes in acidity and availability of oxygen. Personally, I would need to find more info on studies of microbe diversity in cheeses (fermenting cultures, pathogens, etc.)
