Indian bikes have back rests but harley bikes have "sissy bars"😂

Keep these Up, no website or pictures can capture what a particular add-on or modification really looks like. Taking the time to show/explain the parts is a huge help. Maybe do a "Before" and after" on some of your shop work. I.E. Customer wanted "X" modification done. Here is what the bike looked like before, and here is the final product.

I am 6 feet 1, have a 34 inch inseam and consider the springfield.
Would be nice if you did a VID on how to adapt the bike for tall guys.
(extended reach seat / handlebar options / lowering footboards ?)
When I test-road a chieftain some time ago (springfield wasn't available) these options were not available.
I felt that my knees were to high and lost interest.

Hmm on my Springfield my focus was long distance riding in all weather. So my factory accessories were Oil cooler to keep engine cool which it does well, integrated heated grips and they are brilliant, GPS mount for Garmin, heated touring seat, lower reverse flared screen the standard is stupid high and I can see over it when weather is bad and that's essential and full trunk (top bix)and rack setup which is essential for 2 up long distance touring but it's insane expensive! I have never seen another Springfield set up like this but that's okay. We did it from brand new. Not cost effective, an Elite would be better value but I wanted the Springfield so that's what we did!

Up in Canada it cost us 12 grand just in accessories which are priced 70 percent to high.

The reason they do it is about the cash the more they extract from you the better for them plain and simple. The saddle speakers they nickel and dime you to where it is over 2500 Canadian for 2 extra speakers that cost maybe 50 bucks each lol. Although i must say Polaris makes good quality parts .

Will Indian develop a mini-crashbar for the springfield and other baggers in its model lineup. Also, I think a more stylish auxiliary light with War Bonnet type casing would create a lot interest. The current ones are boring and look like softballs with lenses.

Not enough after market dealers yet. Harley has a 50 yr headstart on aftermarket parts . If Polaris keep making quality popular bikes the after market parts will start showing up

@@Davidmaccc A trunk option is over 5 grand in Canada obscene. They break it down so you are basically paying for every minuet piece of the truck instead of here it s complete and here is the price not necessary . I would not be surprised to see the additional cost for the bolt kit lol.

They have cheaper after market parts .the Indian taxes, they got that from Harley. Buy a used bike that the owner already payed the stupid money 😊

It's absurd.. the backrest is already way overpriced on it's own and then to find out it doesn't include the pad is just a kick to the gut. Feels awful buying Indian brand accessories.

Polaris Indian Motorcycle is becoming more Harley Davidson like every year they are starting to nickel and dime their customers more each year. They are pricing people out of the market.

This is very correct that’s why it’s not smart to buy new anymore because that new Indian that cost 20,000 out the door now cost you 23,000 to 25,000

If you had all those bikes behind you, my wife would probably trade in her pretty harley. What's the holdup? Aren't we smart enough to fix this? People want to get out of their houses. MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT. That's what killed the Victory.

The backrest assembly is very unreasonably over priced. I know many people including myself who ride indian and everybody gets after market due to the unreasonable cost
