There are ALOT of comments for this video: I came across this pastor's viral video clip about Trump and the Bible, prompting me to seek out the full sermon to ensure context. I don't know him personally, but from what I've seen, he appears to be a sincere man of faith. His church seems evangelical, with views that align with what many consider "Right-wing" perspectives. However, some commenters label him as a "fake pastor" or worse because he challenged certain political notions.
His statement that voting is a civic, not a spiritual act, is spot-on. Unfortunately, politics often clouds our ability to hear God's message clearly. As an independent, I believe both parties and leaders need to repent of their divisive actions. No political figure should be idolized; they're not saviors.
I appreciate that this pastor doesn't endorse specific candidates, unlike others who align themselves with certain political ideologies. This isn't a political message; it's about upholding what's right, even if it means confronting issues within the church. No American president should be equated with biblical principles.
Let's pray for both Trump and Biden, and for our nation. True believers don't need to vote for someone to love them; our primary duty is to love God and our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39).

It is sad that not more pastors stand up in the USA! When there is a non registered, belonging to no church Bishop who spreads Propaganda about Bill Gates, pro Russia, against Europe, says LGTB are no human beings, then he says he loves LGTB. He says things obviously wrong, like Jesus said if you love my mother you love me. The Propaganda videos are very short and have films in them. He is MAGA 100 per cent and religion is as important for him as the American people for MTG.
The Founding Fathers pushed for separation of church and state for a REASON, one the Pastor is clearly far more familiar with than the right wing commentators who are trashing him for this sermon.

Stirring up hatred? And his message is false. It is not guided by the Holy Spirit. Including a couple of additional pages in with the binding of a Bible has been done for many years and is not blasphemy. Our constitution allows for freedom of religion. Pick up some Bibles in a Christian bookstore and you will see additional pages included apart from the text which is the Inspired Word of God. No one has ever said a word about it….until an election year.
The damage that has been done is due to politics having entered the pulpit! Politics doesn't belong in the church since it had divided the body of Christ! "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)

I'm in awe of the courage to speak truth in these political polarized days. He is so right, Jesus died for all, not just Americans. The Bible is not American, it's for everyone.
I felt the spirit of the Lord as he was speaking. He spoke for God with POWER. No fear at all. All power to God
yes fear is an illusion of having control beyond that of a true God. With fear we reject God and beg a faulty man to lead us. In fear we believe in illusions. A true believer knows that nothing unreal is from God and everything real is from God. True believers overcome fear, because they are led by the true God, and not by faulty men. True God of forgiveness and kindness,and love, not a false god man of anger and judgment.
The highest law of God is to love others as you love yourself, but if you don’t love yourself, and you were not loved, it’s way difficult to love others. Your tank of love is empty, so hate and anger take over, when your heart is unloved. that’s easier than learning to love, You have to learn to love not false prophets but love you imperfect self. Love is light, fear is darkness. A true God is all light and is all love, that is real, anger hate darkness fear are in an illusory world that is unreal.
Brothers and sisters, let’s Pray: “Dear God help me to love.” Amen.

I found this sermon really moving. I’m not exactly a very religious man, but I believe there’s something greater. I’m watching my second time. An honest man, a true believer, devoted. Inspiring in his ability to speak the truth. A little faith has come back in my life just listening.

I'm glad actual christians are finally rising up against the deliberate desecration of their religion and beliefs.
I know what my long passed Grandmother would tell anyone calling themselves a Christian right now if she could; turn off the news, turn off the world, take your Bible and spend the next week alone with all the red text, and pray, and reflect and ask yourself where is your anger coming from, where has your love gone? I had a very wise grandmother. She told that to many people in moments of crisis for them and I watched it literally save a number of lives in a heartbeat.

I still consider myself to be a Christian although I am definitely not a right wing fundamentalist. It has completely baffled me why anybody claiming to be a Christian would’ve listened to and voted for Donald Trump. No, politics does not equal religion or spirituality.
When I leave a sermon or anybody else for that matter...if the sermon was good that is, will not and I repeat will not say what you said on your post. You don't listen to a sermon and say in effect "Well, at least I'm not so and so." That's what the Pharisees did.
If this pastor is naming names, shame on him. A good pastor will attack the act of idol worship, not any person or "right-wingers" as you declared.

I have not seen this kind of boldness in a very long time. I am not seeing this kind of fearlessness and preaching in teaching in many of our Black churches as well. I thank God there is no compromise in this man of God. Pastor Livington is dropping jems. He is telling us how we must face this world as Christians. There is no compromise. We must put on the whole armor of God. Yes, we were confused hearing all this stuff on the news. Pastor Livingston reminded us that Jesus has already overcame the world. We are overcomers in Him! We must stop nibbling at the table of the world all week and then show up on Sundays at church when we barely read our Bibles or pray during the week. Pastor Livingston said, "Are we following Jesus at a distance?

From someone who attends his church for years, I can guarantee you all his parishioners agree with him wholeheartedly and love him for the true biblical principles he teaches us on a weekly basis. The clip that went viral makes him sound like he's against Trump aka Republicans/Christian principles...they took one mini clip from an hour sermon from ONE sermon. His goal in every sermon is to point us to God, the Bible, and to pray...fight our battles on our knees!
I didn’t hear the message as a political message at all. What I heard is that the Bible or the Christian faith IS NOT uniquely American nor does it require ANYTHING to be added to it. The Bible and its principles are for the world irrespective of politics.

I don’t go to church anymore like I used to when growing up (18 years) cause since 2016 I feel like politics have me not believe as much anymore, I see people almost praising political candidates in such ways that discourages me from seeking God. I know that’s not correct but I’m so thankful to hear someone stand up to the political blasphemy going on in the USA.
