Anything from 6 to 10 of Ultra Rares (the Vs, VMAX, Full Art, or Gold cards) is a normal number of hits, so you're right in the pocket of average. Though you did get some good upper end cards with the gold Snorlax. Seemed like a pretty good box to me! Everything also checks out as far as how the seals look, the wrapper looks, etc. Timmies are running wild, Rudy.

Why is the seal so loose? I was going to buy a booster box on offer up but noticed the plastic was loose so I assumed it was fake resealed, always thought the seal is suppose to be tight until I seen this video
@@benderr424 it definitely varies. Typically they are tighter but the plastic isn't the kind that really holds a stretchy tension like some products

One of the lgs stores that opened 100-200 booster boxes said the average pull rate is 7-8 with the least pulls being 6 and most pulls being 11. You hit right in the standard box mark. Yeah, definitely a box I would love to have haha. Mine had 8 hits (average), but nothing super valuable. The problem is that so many youtubers only highlight the hits, so people think that every pack should have Charizards and shiny cardboard, where the fact is, there are usually 2-3 V, 1 VMAX, 1 secret rare and a few regular Holos.

Checking the seal quality on camera and then offering the patron his cards after pulling a secret rare Snorlax! This is the integrity I wish every seller had and one of the reasons Rudy is so successful. Good guy.
You get that there's no guarantee these boxes are the same ones, right? I'm not saying it's likely he did this, I doubt it. Just saying it technically proves nothing.

What people don't realize it's that Rudy replaced all of those top boxes with reseals with high value cards. The conspiracy is real!
Sounds like this patron is a doofus who doenst realize that chilling reign has low pull rates, horrible QC and card quality, and was mad that the market valued has dropped to about $100 on these booster boxes. Then, had buyers remorse and wanted their money back.

Chilling reign is fine.. u may have mistaken it for battle styles that actually had lower pull rate.
Market value has dropped cause hype is fading and pokemon has caught up on printing.
The last 2 sets have had the same pull rate for ultra rares as before. I think it’s that vivid voltage had amazing rares in the reverse spot which made it feel like you got more hits.

funny thing is if the Patron kept the boxes he would have pulled that gold snorlax, which is a big hit in the set haha, who knows what else is in there.

Somehow, considering how much Rudy makes a year from all his investments, I doubt he would bother to even waste his time to dig through any cards and glue the packs back together and reseal the plastic on the boxes. Just common sense.

Not saying he did scam but if I were trying to prove that I didn't scam people Id be showing you me opening the returned box of all the other box's of cards. You can easily open the box take out the fakes and put real opened packs and boxes.

Chilling Reign is notoriously difficult with pull rates. Same with Battle Styles..on the one hand, you can’t expect rainbow secret rares in every pack, but on the other hand, they keep increasing the number of secret rares in each set, which makes collecting a nightmare! Lol

Just check the patreon periodically, he doesn't add spots but they open when someone closes their account.

If you get to join the cost is you get to pay on the last day of the month to join but don't forget payment is due on the 1st. I joined last month being able to communicate with this guy every once in a while when needed worth it.

Also Rudy has mentioned that he has a bundle that will be coming out at release. I have not been following MZ at all. I do think you would have to be kinda dumb to have an opportunity to purchase and choose not to. I plan on hopefully being able to buy a few boxes and putting it in my long term treasure chest with the other long forgotten boxes for my children to find when I cross the rainbow road.

Holo (Foil) Rares - mostly bulk
VMAX’s - depends most are $7 or less
VMAX Secret’s (Rainbow) - depends most are $20 or less
Alternate Art Cards - varies but usually over $20
Full Arts (true full arts, not the regular V’s Rudy called full arts) - prices vary, usually over $5
Secret (Gold Cards) - prices vary, but that Snorlax is currently $100
The Box Rudy opened is almost as good as anyone could hope for - just needed an Alt Art

@@HomeCookinMTG I think people who primarily play Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh type games call foils "Holos" or "Holographics". I think it's stupid but to each their own.
@@stankylegg1782 Well I know in yugioh it's rarity is indicated by the type of foiling, so any card in yugioh can be rare, unlike magic, where that lightning bolt may be foil, but it's still a common. I don't know how pokemon works though.

I enjoyed this change of pace even though the circumstances were not the greatest. I haven't opened Pokemon since the Japanese VS set in the early 2000's, and those were 30 card boosters to boot.

Across one box you should usually expect to see 6-8 of the "fancy" cards (V, Vmax, or full art), and then usually you also get 1 secret rare cards (gold like the Snorlax, Rainbow, or alternate art). There is variance, it's never guaranteed, but that's usually the rough common numbers.
Throw it in the bathroom for a few years. Then let’s revisit the other 3 boxes

A guy who bought some from another huge card seller and said it was resealed because his code cards were the wrong cover in the shiny or non shiny packs.
Ive gotten packs with no codes, i have gotten packs with a missing card and I have gotten packs with all foils. Shit can happen.

I’ve been dealing with a couple of scam sellers. The vast majority of purchases I’ve made have been great, but I received a fake Vivid Voltage booster box the other day, no way any legit booster box weighs 600 grams. Also had someone mark a pre-release sale as shipped a month early so by the time I realized it wasn’t being shipped the 30 day period had already passed.

The average "hit" card for Chilling Reign is 1 out of 5 packs, I believe. (Usually just a V card.) 8 hits in a box is slightly above average. The Snorlax and the Full Art Trainer are massive hits though. 💯
