You inspire me! I am so amazed at the production you are able to get in your relatively small area. And also, how much you must be selling in such a small town. I am a small grower in a town in Minnesota about the same as yours, about 2 hours north of you. I would love to come down and see your space and chat all things growing and selling.

Wow, you are expanding a lot! Looks wonderful and exciting. Do you have help? It looks like a lot for one person to look after.

My dad has been helping me get the new area prepped. I plant and harvest it all myself

@@SunshineFlora that’s pretty impressive considering how much you have planted, all at different stages.

I used to use straw as a mulch, a 3” thick layer, but never again. Too many weeds in those bales of straw! I use compost now as it is terrific for the soil and helps keep weeds down and moisture in. Always a pleasure to see your videos! Happy growing 💐

Why not just mulch your dahlia patch? Even if it's just a layer of woodchips, it would save a lot of weeding time, as would stop weed seeds from germinating as much. Plus would help with soil life and fertility in the long run. Love watching your videos and seeing you grow and expand. 😊

Wouldn't it be better to conserve water and save the rain water from the roof instead of draining it to the parking lot?

It’s not the best placement for my big water tank. I have another gutter on my other building that is much better placement

Careful with the straw!!!! Make sure it hasn't been treated with pesticides. It will take out your dahlia's
