- We biked the Waterfront Trail from Toronto to Ajax, passing through landmarks such as the Scarborough Bluffs, Guild Park & Gardens, Rouge Beach, Petticoat Creek Conservation Area, Millennium Square in Pickering, Duffins Creek elevated boardwalk, and finally Paradise Beach in Ajax!

This is absolutely awesome to see happening "in Toronto". I've been seeing a lot more Bromptons on the streets and one day... I hope to ride one as well. Thanks for sharing the video of your trip.
Yes, there are so many more Bromptons in Toronto and area than there were nine years ago when we bought our bikes. When you get your Brompton, let us know! Always happy to have more people in the fold. ;)
Very nice trip. Loved it. Thanks for sharing.
A much more scenic route than I usually am able to achieve.
Beautiful video , so brightening . Subscribed to your channel 😀
Ugh I can't wait to ride!!!
Great video. Toronto has changed a lot since I lived there years ago. Next time I visit I'll bring my Brompton and see if I can ride with your group.
That would be awesome!
That bridge where it says Port Union waterfront park is closed untill Dec /22. Messed up our Brommie rides, Bike from Lynde shores, Halls road, Whitby -Rotary park. Ajax. or from same start, to Thickson woods
Good to know! I hope there was a sign warning people ahead of time, or at least providing a detour route, though I suspect there probably wasn't. :(
@@bromptoning there was a notice I think there may even be a way to get around, We just park at park area near go station, go under briedge & then head east along waterfront
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Is there really a bike path the entire way? Amazing! At the point where the boardwalk was missing, was it washed away? I am adding this route to my summer cycling list. Thanks again 👍🏼
Yes there is! Sections of the Waterfront Trail in Scarborough use residential side streets, but they are all well marked. For a detailed map, see the link in the video description. As for where the boardwalk is missing in Pickering, yes, that's because the water levels got really high and damaged the boardwalk. There are plans to build a new one, hopefully soon!
did you ride back?
It was getting late, so we biked back to Rouge Hill and took the GoTrain downtown from there.
so technically you are still first back to the city of Toronto.@@bromptoning
Not a fan of the music. Would much prefer to hear the same sounds you are hearing on your rides. The birds chirping, the tires on the ground, etc. Otherwise it would have been a great video.
Indeed.
