- A video about how to find and fix clutch noise . Clutch squeak noise can be from two places , either from the clutch pedal itself , or the clutch slave cylinder located on the transmission which pushes the clutch fork when you press the pedal , after getting dry the plunger of the cylinder starts to make noise , where the plunger of slave cyclinder meets the throw-out bearing folk , happens mostly on depressing the cutch

Agree with this comment. My clutch squeals from under the hood when my clutch pedal is engaged. It’s not the pedal. Can’t find a video to help yet.
This one may help, but I don’t want to go through this entire process only to find that it didn’t stop the noise.

@@undevined Nope. Every time I brought it to the repair shop, the sound stopped. 😃 Took it in last Saturday for another issue and the noise stopped when I got there. Oy! 🤣

Your English is very appropriate especially the terms uv used is very relevant and understandable.Thx a ton for this information,iws searching exactly this,Sir i need ur opinion-I suddenly released the clutch pedal with engine at idle and hand breaks engaged during startup from standstill,naturally the car violently stalled on Hyundai Creta Petrol 2018 model.This iv did a few times mistakenly.Now that clutch cylinder squeak has started,it can be heard from clutch cylinder attached on firewall under the hood.Plz suggest is any thing needed to be done,or should be left squeaking.
Sir usually if the squeek from slave cylinder is audible than it can be from the pivot and divet of the cylinder plunger or clutch fork , you can try greasing that point , if that helps

Will there be any harm if we continue driving without putting the grease on the slave cylinder? My car has done 28k kms and today I observed maybe a clang sound while releasing the clutch, happened about twice but rest of the drive however much I tried to replicate the noise it did not come back. So not sure what the noise was.

Sir it can be done , but I dont think that anyone has done anything like this before ,
Most probably you have to buy both airbag modules , wiring harnesses , inpact sensors , have to connect the airbag modules to the central electric system so that it is able to connect with the ECU .

Hello, thanks for the video. I have Fiat Bravo 2 1.6 multijet 105hp. From 1-2 weeks I have an issue with the clutch - when I am going on first and reverse gear the car is vibrating and annoying rasping sound is heard on the front of the car. Sometimes I am not even able to shift the gears and when I turn off the car and pump the clutch and then the car start shifting and driving off without vibrations. Could it be a problem with the clutch release bearing? Or because of old brake fluid and air in the system? Thanks in advance!
Sir just flush the old fluid out of the system and pour new fluid , and make sure there is no air trapped inside the system , it will help

My clutch is squeaking everytime I push it and release it (it comes from somewhere under the engine, so I did what you did). I lubricated the slave cylinder like You, and it still was making the sound. Then 1 day after it stopped for like 10-15 pushes&releases, and it came back (it never stopped squeaking before the lubrication, so I think it was useful). Since then I have the same sound as before. Is the slave cylinder the problem? Oh and the rubber on the slave cylinder is broken/teared. Can it cause the problem? My car is a VW B6 Passat Variant.
Sir torn rubber on slave is definately a concern , as now clutch dust can enter the cylinder and damage the seals , which will lead to oil leak inside the clutch housing , and as soon as oil reaches the clutch , it will spoil it
So get it changed ASAP , ( to make sure that clutch is safe )
Noise - sometimes the inner shaft of slave gets dry and starts to make noise , and as we ypu told sir , that slave have a torn rubber boot , so that could be the reason

Yes sir , chances are there , due to clutch dust accumulation on the pivot points of the fork

My rapid 1.6tdi makes injector noise at high speed also but when I give full acceleration then it goes off. What can be done to overcome this issue? This issue started from last 1 year before that after certain rpm level is crossed then injector noise used to go off.

Sir you need to run injector cleaner and need to go on Italian tune-up , try to rev the car till 2.5k rpm in every gear before shifting , along with the cleaner it will do the work

Hi, please make a video about how to solve hard clutch issues in Honda City 4th gen vtec. My car has run 46k kms, I asked Service guys to bleed clutch hydraulics, they denied and asked me to replace complete clutch kit along with Release bearing.
Sir in hydraulic clutch , you can remove the spongyness by bleeding but it will have no effect on the hardness or softness of clutch pedal , effort required to press the clutch is decided by the spring force of the pressure plate , resistance of the throw out bearing and the volumetric ratio of the master and slave cylinder . But still you can try greasing the clutch pedal if that helps .

Hii brother I am facing a issue in my polo as in your previous video I told you I got original Bosch brakepads installed in my 2015 model polo but now it is giving a screeching sound whenever I press the brakes ...what can be done to resolve the issue it sound really bad.
Sir firstly check the surface of your disc rotors for smoothness , if they have kind of lines which you can feel with your fingers then you need to remove the rotors and take them to a laith machine shop to get resurfaced , and buy a new set of brake pads . You can use the old but its not worthy .
If you have switched to ceramic brake pads from bosch , then sir usually ceramic pads tend to create noise till the time they get warmed up . So its more like characteristic
@@yourDIYneeds I have already got the disc rotors resurfaced once and the new brakepads are just 2.5 months old....I guess the noise continues even after warming up

Sir brake pads noise usually arise when the brake pads gets cooked from the heat or they are old enough , there is no third reason for brake pads noise
Yes , it usually around rs.50 for each side , so for two rotors which has 4 sides in total , rs 200

It doesn't creak right away, it only happens after it gets warmed up after 5 to 10 miles
I also assumed it was the slave cylinder. Clutch gets stiff and feedback isn't so good when it gets hot
Try switching to a better brake fluid like DOT 5.1
The difference between dot 3 ,4 and 5.1 is their boiling point , DOT 5.1 has the highest boiling point
As far away the hydraulic fluid is from its boiling point, better it will perform , and also bleed the air from the system, just as a precautionary step .

@@yourDIYneeds I'm thinking the slave cylinder gets hot or the throwout bearing and expands causing the creaking sound from extra friction. Youre saying better brake fluid will somehow prevent the clutch noise?

Sir your steering rack needs a preload adjustment ,
Firstly lubricate the rack
And then adjust the preload
