- You know when you have one of those days, weeks or even months that you just feel... off? I went back and forth foreeeever on filming at all this week because I've just been feeling crummy/not myself but I hope this can encourage anyone else that's in the same spot. The truth is that life goes on around us even when we're not our "best" and that's okay. Sometimes it's hard to not compare where we're at with where we FEEL like everyone else is at, but there's always more to the story.
I hope you guys feel peace + grace to go own at your own pace this fall and I'm praying it's a smooth transition into new rhythms for your families, whatever those rhythms may be! ❤️

I am so surprised by how similar our lives have been over the past few years, in terms of perspectives and children!
I have been watching your channel since almost the beginning, actually before my daughter was born.
I also fell pregnant with a boy as my second and they have a 16 month age difference, similar to yours.
I also had big business dreams and I closed my successful skin clinic to peruse life as a full time stay at home Mum.
As time has gone on, we have begun to consider homeschooling and funnily enough, I am currently at the same stage as you with just dipping my toes and seeing if I can create a structured morning with my daughter.
It’s so lovely to be going on this journey with you, regardless of not actually ‘knowing eachother’.
I pray that your adrenals improve soon and that your household sickness streak ends soon! I’m worried we are about to jump into one right now 😂 husband is sick and my daughter is a little stuffy.
PS. My daughter is currently 19 months old and her name is Reyna Grace and my son is 3 months old and his name is Abel David.

Love this video! You are so relatable Beth and appreciate you sharing so much, thank you ♥️ love that you are doing homeschool preschool! if you can’t find specific books I honestly recommend CZcams! I know some people don’t like screen time but for educational purposes it can be helpful. Many books can be found read by others on CZcams and as teachers it always help me out when I am in a pinch. And sometimes I will pause or turn audio off so I can read the book aloud. For example a great book Viv I think would enjoy is ten apples up on top and there is even a version on CZcams where it’s a song and my kindergarteners love it! Super catchy! So many fun activities too that can go with that book like taking a picture of them and having them spell their name using apple cut outs on their head 🥰

Homeschooling is wonderful and is so much fun, especially with the little ones. I look forward to homeschooling my baby in a few years (homeschooled my others). I never heard of Treehouse Schoolhouse! Sounds wonderful. I hope you have a great time. Just remember to be patient with your children while they learn.

I am trying to figure out what to do to start teaching my 2 year old also. It's encouraging because watching another mother with a 2 year old and an infant really helps ❤

Yes! That makes sense that September/Fall feels like a new year - because that’s where the beginning of the year is in the Bible! It’s Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets! :)
It gets tough having little ones and kids in general because there's so much to do and so much that's going on. We are always striving to make sure our little ones are healthy let alone our husbands and ourselves.
Not getting sleep also makes it worse.
You can do it. ❤ Keep on going and don't give up. I'm glad your in-laws come and stay a few days because it helps a lot 😊

Have you tried value village for books? I have found some great kids books in great condition there (I’m a teacher in Ontario 😊) you have to rummage through but you can find some great deals!!
